PolycomVVX Series 9 Ft Black Handset Cord - in Factory Sealed Bag

The cable I received did not fit a VVX501/510. This is not an OEM cable nor does it even fit a Polycom VVX. As you can see in my image, the lead is not long enough to fit into the cable channel. In the second image you can see it pictured with a bonafide OEM cable that came with the phone. It's a little over half the length of the original and it's black instead of dark grey. But most importantly to me, it doesn't fit in the cable channel so everytime you move the phone you need to use two hands or it slides under the unit and it won't sit flat/level.You might not think you move your phone much but most people actually move the base around a little while talking on the handset... this would cause the base to 'jump' up on the cord and the base will rock on that fulcrum until you fix it.Other than these objections, it appears to be fine for a standard, Radio-Shack grade phone cord. It is very short though... if you stretched it out to 9 feet (which I think it might reach... MAYBE) it would never spring back to 1.5 feet.

The coiled part is fine but at each end should be enough straight part to plug into your handset and desk phone. There’s not enough straight part.

Bad quality and feels cheap...Incomparable to the original Polycom wire. Not OEM.
