Movement replacement
Easy to fit and works well.
User
Does the job exactly.
These movements just work from the pack. Take your time to fit the hands and crown safely and the movement will work fine for you. Try to use tweezers when fitting the battery. Very good mevements in my opinion.

Not good for me.
Didn't fit what I wanted
User
Great movement
I used it to replace the movement in my mother's watch. Worked like a charm.

Perfect
I wanted to fit a new Miyota watch mechanism that I had damaged when I replaced the battery watch, annoying but everyone makes mistakes don't they? so this was an exact replacement for my watch. I have never worked on a watch before and it was a fiddly job that requires a bit of patience, but worth the effort as I like the watch, so now it works perfectly and I'm really pleased with this purchase. The mechanism was supplied in a small plastic case and even came with a new battery, very good.

Did not work
When I received the movement I went to try it before fixing in watch however it just did not start I assume it was a dead battery but it could be more

They Work
My wife's small wristwatch stopped working so I decided to replace the quartz movement myself. The movement wasn't much smaller than the watch case. I had not replaced a quartz movement in a watch before. All the information I needed bar one was available by searching the internet. The info I couldn't find was how to remove the dial after the hands were removed. The back of the dial had 2 small pins fixed to it and they push-fitted into the holes shown in the photograph. I gently eased a craft knife (Stanley knife blade) between the dial and movement and the dial separated easily. I separated the dial by trial and error but I would think it would be easier if I had separated at the points where the pins enter the movement as shown on the attached photograph.
