Morton Salt, Lite Salt with Low Sodium For Cooking, 11 Oz, 12-Pack

Using it for electrolytes instead of products like powerade or pedialyte or power electrolyte mixes, which I used to spend a lot of money on. Comparitively, this is cheap as hell, literally exactly what you need for hydration, mixes great, and— you get to choose your own flavors lol. For instance, sometimes I add a lemonade mix. On its own in water, this product tastes subtle and warm with less bite than salt alone, a nice mineral flavor. The little jars are thick cardboard with a wedged on soft plastic lid, using a rotating top to open and close, with both shaker and pour openings. It’s a little fiddly, so if you have dexterity limitations, you may want to transfer to you own shakers. But otherwise I find the size, shape, and weight to be very practical. I haven’t tried it for cooking.

Great product to cut down on sodium and to add electrolytes

Great, low sodium substitute for those of us who need to avoid regular salt due to high blood presure. It tastes just like salt. I cannot tell the difference, although it has half as much sodium as regular salt

Tastes like regular table salt, with the health benefit of half the sodium! Use for cooking. Hard to find in grocery stores.

Purchased this multiple times. Great replacement for real salt. Less sodium so you can use a little more liberally without worrying too much about sodium and actually because it is less sodium, its harder to overseason thanks to the potassium balance. Also, since my family typically has low potassium these days, its nice to have another way to supplement. It may be a club store quantity, but the product doesn't go bad very quickly - and it makes a nice thing to share with friends that have health issues or family members with health issues. Lastly, its iodized which many products these days (including the ones at the club store) aren't. All around, a worthwhile product to switch to from regular iodized salt.

My dietician daughter recommended this salt to me, as her husband’s blood pressure is high, as is mine, and so they use this salt on foods, and in baking! My daughter told me that she cannot even tell the difference between “real” salt and this salt! I can distinguish the difference, but I quite like the flavor of this salt! My potassium levels tend to be a bit low at times so this is a good option for me! So glad it is available! I do not care for the 100% only potassium chloride “non salt” option, and this is more than satisfactory!!! It is yummy!!! 😋

Had to reduce my sodium and everything I found was so nasty tasting This IS table salt without all the sodium I will never use anything else my husband is a salt addict to the point he keeps one in his vehicle, I put th is salt all the shakers and he cannot tell the differance LOL
