Great value 100% recommend
Wow. I am truly over the moon with this little camcorder. First its alot smaller than I expected. It fits perfectly in the palm of you hand. Second its lightweight and I mean light my Samsung s9 is heavier. Third the quality. This is a two part. Actual camcorder quality is very high it looks amazing ( I will add photos) it's very durable. Picture quality is spot on. I got this as I have a small YouTube channel and I wanted to start improving the editing of the show and wow this has made a great difference. Also used it at my sons birthday party and again flawless. Sounds just as good as any phone sk no complaints from me there. Lastly the value. I truly thing you will be hard pushed to find anything better at this price range. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a start with camcorders or for anyone wanting to improve a small YouTube vblog ex.

A great, inexpensive, simple to use camcorder
I bought this camcorder after reading customer reviews: most of which were positive. The last camcorder I bought cost me around £400, this one was just 10% of that. On unpacking it, I thought the build quality seemed very good. I inserted one of the two batteries and a small capacity memory card to try it out. I was pleased that the battery was partially charged and the camera worked straight out of the box. After reading the instruction leaflet and finding my way around the controls, I took it into the garden to try it out. After this I downloaded the resulting video onto my rather elderly desktop computer and onto my equally ancient laptop: both machines found the necessary drivers. I was quite impressed with the video quality and the recorded sound. I have since read the instructions completely and tried most of the other features, including the remote control. The remote worked well although its range is a bit limited ( about 2.5 metres), but it will start/stop, zoom in & out take stills and other features: there are no instructions for the remote, so you need to find your own way around this. I already owned a couple of external microphones from my previous camcorder, both worked fine as did the built in microphone ( the microphone socket is a stereo input and one of the microphones is mono, so a Stereo to mono adapter plug was needed, but it works. Once you find your way around the different features, the machine is quite adaptable to many situation. The camcorder is supplied with a charging cable which is a standard USB to micro USB standard camera download lead, but no wall charger, so you will need to use your phone or tablet charger for this. I consider this to be advantageous, as it's not necessary to carry another charger (the battery is charged while in the camera) I do have a couple of minor criticisms: the zoom is not smooth and tends to zoom in steps and as with all digital zooms, it does lose a bit of quality at the extreme. I do wish the manufacturer showed the lens filter size on the lens bezel as I would like to use a polarising filter with the camera. As I have only had the camera for less than a week, I haven't tried all of the features yet. It is supposed to have night filming facility, but not tried this yet. This facility allows filming in zero light ( in monochrome only). I'll update on this later. Nor have I yet tried the still camera feature, but I don't expect it to be exceptional. To sum up. If you want an inexpensive little camcorder that is easy to use to record holidays or family events, then go for it, if you're looking for professional results, you'll need to spend considerably more. So far I am impressed. Oh just a post script: The camcorder stores the files on a full sized SD card, not a Mini SD card: I would suggest one of 128Gb.

Good for you money, get to know the rest
Good quality for it, you have very sensitive microphone on the tripod. Some file don't work, but for me that is ok as I have 6 cameras. You need for long video file you need to run older versions of video player to watch them and to use them you need Adobe or other software.

Budget, compact, easy to use but low picture quality.
The camera is small and lightweight with a metal tripod screw. Perfect for my needs. The hand strap is not built well and I don't expect it to last. I won't be using it hand held so I don't mind. The picture quality from the video is a little underwhelming but for less than £50 it's probably to be expected, it's quality decreases once zoomed in and grainy/noise is evident even at low ISO levels. The picture quality from the camera setting is in my opinion the worst feature. Advertising at 30.0 MP is a bit of an exaggeration, I would expect much larger files with good detail at that output. This camera produces file sizes of 3-4 MB per photo at a low resolution, like older mobile phones really. Something more akin to 3-4 MP resolution. Someone could get the most out of the camera by shooting on a delayed timer on a tripod or with the remote. I didn't find either a delay or photo feature available on the remote or on the menu. Pressing the button during the photo just introduces blur. I brought an external microphone to use on the hotshoe but the sound is still rather tinny. I brought a long AC lead to records for long periods while charging and I have used the camera to produce recordings continuously for over an hour. I was pleased with this as it was the reason for my purchase. My camera doesn't always power on first time but a battery pull sorts this out. I'll give it a few more weeks of use before I decide if this is a fault I can live with. If the photo quality was higher (as advertised) my rating would be higher. After one or two more uses. I had to return the camera for a refund as it no longer switched on consistently without a battery pull.

Really awful camcorder!
I am so upset that I tested this camcorder outside of the return window otherwise I would've sent it straight back because it's honestly awful. The picture, camera quality is extremely bad and the battery life is next to nothing. It also freezes and you cant do anything to unfreeze it other than wait hours for it the baytery to die. I honestly would not recommend this to anyone. I just wanted something to start making YouTube videos and practice getting comfortable in front of the camera and editing videos but this camcorder just makes things difficult I literally managed to only film an intro which was like 6 minutes and the battery was already low and then it froze for hours! Like seriously? Don't waste your money just spend a bit more to get a better camcorder even if its for small projects.

Brilliant camera but tacky remote
The video camera itself is brilliant. Exactly as advertised. The only thing that was a bit puzzling was the remote control. It took a while to start working and for the life of me I can't open the battery compartment, or what I presume is the battery compartment and there's nothing in the instructions about the remote at all. I just wanted to see what batteries it uses, in case they need replacing. Not a big deal though and, to be honest, I'm not sure if a remote is neccassary anyway, it just maybe saves a bit of time having to edit out between the point of turning the camera on and off again in a self video clip. Thanks.

great camera
This camera is great, I am a you tuber so i needed good quality video and this camera does that, having 2 batteries is perfect and so does having a control to press record button from a little distance. comes in nice little bag to keep it clean and protect it, takes good photo,s and comes with a usb cable, if you have a usb plug you can charge it, other wise you have to charge it by computer, For the price it is awesome and perfect also for my holiday in September 2020 too.

Great value for this quality.
There is nothing to dislike about this camera. Its very handy and easy to use, light weight and full of features you would expect to pay more for. The zoom is especially fast to react for fast moving objects and the focus is fast and easy. Storeage is sufficient but not supplied, a spare battery but charging has to be done through the camera which is a bit of a pain. It comes complete with its own protective case. Highly recomended unit at a very reasonable price.
