Since most of the men in my family are big baseball fans, it is only fitting I am as well. I like to find new information about players so I can "one up them" in our little trivial game. I really enjoyed this biography of Mike Trout. It is so fascinating to see his life story from the beginning and his rise to fame. He is one of my favorites and I love his class and how he holds onto integrity. The book is very well written and easy to follow and one that all sports fans will enjoy. The author did a great job compiling all the information and I love his dedication to the truths. I recommend this to all fans of baseball, sports and Mike Trout. It is an awesome read.

I follow baseball sporadically and get excited about it to the extent that my teenage son gets excited about something. He is currently a big fan of MLB player Mike Trout so we both just read this bio of him and it was both interesting and very well written. This one does a great job of taking the reader through Trout's upbringing in Millville, NJ to being drafted right out of high school. His rise from the minors to the majors was detailed quite well as were his many triumphs and prospects for the future. A great read filled with facts and inspiration.

Good book. Good story author repeated some stuff and made some stuff confusing but overall the book was pretty good.

This book was exactly what I was looking for for my 8 year old son. He had a biography project and loves Mike Trout. It was very thorough in the information we needed. He still reads it for enjoyment. This seller was great! The book arrived exactly when it was suppose to. Perfect for baseball enthusiasts looking for more info on their favorite player.

If you're looking for a book with information that cannot be readily found online, don't buy this. Very disappointed with the lack of depth here. You know how when you were a kid, and you were assigned a writing assignment in class, and you used larger font and double spacing to get done quicker? Well, this writer still masters that con!Bottom line: If your considering buying this, do yourself a favor and search for the numerous ESPN write-ups on Mike Trout, which are FARRR more comprehensive than this, and best yet, free. Don't waste your hard earned money on this search-engine, data miner, author.

This is a collection of info about Mke Trout but isn't really an "inspirational story". Being a Millville resident I was curious to read about the community contributions of which I was not already aware. Of course I blame myself for expecting more, for the price of this and considering that there are other similar books about other athletes available from the same author/publisher. Anyone who is a Mike Trout fan of any kind would probably know most of what's in here already. I'd recommend it for the person who catches a game on tv and sees Mike Trout for the first time and says "hey I'd like to learn more about this guy."PS I am writing this on the day it has just been announced that Trout was a first pick for the All-Star game so I doubt anyone doesn't know the guy by now.
