I like Sam Crescent's books as they are somehow empowering, the main characters not being "perfect" by society's standards. This book is no exception, the h was sold by her family for being overweight and I really expected the H to be a bit controlling and abusive considering he bought her. But, that does not happen, he is genuinely involved in their relationship and he is trying (and succeeding) to be the best mate possible.

Nick is an outlaw wolf with no pack. Clara is the wolf that is bullied because of her weight. Clara becomes another one of Nick's possessions or so he thinks. Even with everything Clara has been through can Nick save her? Will the collective Alphas take away more from Nick?

All ends well for Nick and Clara, but the concept of human trafficking is tough to swallow. Needless to say, I have mixed emotions about this book.

WOW I loved every page of this book. And I read a lot! Great story and characters. I love your books.

This was a good read. What started in a nasty harsh way turned into something more beautiful and meaningful. Liked how their love blossomed together.
