I am 5’10”, 170 lbs and it was a great fit.I really like the material of both the jacket and the battery pack - which is a nice black matte finish where the jacket isn’t too puffy and material still feels pretty durable and slippery enough that it doesn’t look like it would catch on anything. They have even thought of adding a thumb hole in the wrist collar when you’re not wearing gloves.There are a bunch of handy pockets everywhere too which is quite useful. It’s currently 100 in Texas at the end of summer so I won’t be able to test it in winter conditions for a few months yet but I am looking forward to it. I’ll update my review then but I bought this as I do go skiing and my parents and most of my family live in the north east and I like the company so I know this product just launched!

I purchased this jacket with high expectations but was highly disappointed. The first jacket arrived. I liked the fit and look, but the zipper was sticky and seemed like poor quality. I charged the battery and plugged it in to the jacket but it only worked for about five minutes. It then shut off and would not turn back on no matter what I did. I ordered a replacement and the exact same thing happened. Two orders - two defective jackets. I suspect the quality is just really low. I would wait for a better product.

Happy to see these ended up on Amazon after missing the kickstarter. The attention to detail on these jackets is awesome. Really impressed that a new clothing company could do such a good job. After losing 60lbs the Patagonia no longer fit so was time to replace it. Definitely comparable quality and arguably better in some areas. For me the heating feature was really just a bonus considering I live in California so not too many times I will need the extra warmth but it works really well and will be awesome for early morning hikes & ski season.Pros:Really well made, attention to detail on everything. I really wanted to like it. Alas! I’ve gone through 4 of them. The jacket itself is nice but heating doesn’t work. Here’s a full story. Bought myself the first one and wore it for a few days while it was still relatively warm, so didn’t feel compelled to turn on the heat. Liked the feel and bought one for my son. He liked it too. In about 2 weeks it got colder and I finally unpacked the batteries, charged them and tested. Plugged them in. My jacket turned on after a couple of attempts. My son’s didn’t. That obviously made me wonder whether an issue was with a battery or the jacket. Turned out to be the battery. Since my son already wore the jacket and liked it, instead of returning the whole package to Amazon, I reached out to a ravean rep and offered them to either send me a replacement battery or everything through Amazon. They chose the former. 2 weeks later I got nothing in mail despite a promise. I sent my return to Amazon on the last day... for replacement. It came in promptly. To my disappointment they sent me a female version of the jacket WITHOUT the battery. As you can imagine, it warranted a call to Amazon to orchestrate a double return. You can’t sort that out on the website. Then I gave them the last chance with a replacement. This time everything was in place, however, my hopes got crushed again - same issue - the new battery connection was faulty. How do I know? It didn’t work on either my sons’s 3rd replacement jacket not on mine. Back and farewell Ravean :(

This jacket looks and feels great. I love the design. I love all the pockets. I had an issue with the charge of the battery at first but reached out to customer service and they handled it promptly and fixed my issue. I love this jacket and couldn't have been happier with the customer service. I'm hoping Amazon starts carrying their gloves soon as well!

Battery seemed to charge, but didn’t work. No heating. Garbage jacket. Do not waste your hard earned money to only wait and be Completely disappointed. What a f.ing waste of time.

i have orderd two of these jackets. both arrived with faulty battery. it was impossible to turn on the heating or even charge the battery. stay away from this brand.
