I am very pleased with this GFCI outlet. My 40 year old GFCI outlet in my bathroom broke (brittle plastic shattered) and I needed to replace it. I got this one and saw how these had improved over the decades.My old GFCI outlet had the wires connected in the old-school wire hooked around the screw style. After flipping the breaker off for the circuit I was able to safely replace the outlet. This plug let me straighten out the wire ends and trim them so they would slide into holes on the new plug where the screws locked them securely in place. A much better design!Once in place I could see this was a much better outlet. I like the indicator lights. The old one had a button that popped out to indicate a fault. The LED’s are much nicer for that. This new one is also explicitly “water resistant” which is an upgrade over my old one. So cool!This outlet has exceeded my expectations. Design improvement have increased safety and made the replacement easier than with the older style. That gets 5 stars from me. I am very pleased.

Generally speaking, the GFI receptacle is a good product with one major exception. The ground wire terminal is recessed and it is almost impossible to attach a solid copper wire to it. I have installed many electrical products that include a ground wire attachment and never have I experienced such a problem. This should be easy! I recommend relocating the terminal to be reachable.

Installed yesterday on my patio. So far so good. The build did feel a bit cheap when compared to Leviton or others brand names but can’t beat the price. Not sure how well it will hold up to the summer heat and rain but it is a covered outlet and not in direct exposure. I would buy again saved at least 5-6$ compared to HD or Lowe’s

Very similar to original and was easy to replace rith this one. Been working great since instullation.

I am used to outlets being cheap junk. This one is outstandingly well built, and comes with the longest and clearest instructions I have ever seen on such a product, with real English explanations and clear diagrams. Recommended.
