Not a direct fit
This starter is not a direct fit the mounting holes are threaded and need to be drilled out, the support bracket does not line up, so I made a new one, other than that it works great.BT

Wrong Assembly straight from factory
I’m not sure if my product defect but the starter worked fine for the Sea Doo on the first couple starts back to back, then after the starter went out, took it out and bench tested it and nothing, decided to open it up instead of returning it and the bushing that pushes down was put in backwards

Thank goodness for this.
Works just as it is supposed to. Thank you.UpdateJuly 4th 2018 the starter went out. I shut it off at the dock to get a drink and came back to start it and all the starter does is come on and does not engage to the flywheel.I’m fixing to order another one.

Great starters from a GREAT company!
I have purchased 2 for 2 different SeaDoo SPX jet skis; one had a failure within the first 30 days the other continues to run strong. The one that experienced the failure was replaced under warranty by the vendor within a couple of days, I haven't had any issues with the replacement starter. I can't recommend enough DB Electrical and their products!

Didn't like that it broke in first 4 days of use , how ever I did get replacement that hasn't given any troubles since yet I haven't used much as I got at end of season , but looks same and hoping I had just received a faulty one , happend s with lots of things these days

Fits 92 seadoo xp
Worked for my seadoo but the starter immediately snapped at the shaft . Sent back and had a new one sent out right away will see how it works and update

Motor isn't reliable
This is my second one I've got from this company and they seem to only last maybe 20 or 30 starts and they are toast. I bought an oem starter and haven't had an issue..

Manufactured poorly. Main drive shaft is not made well.
Used probably less than 30 starts before it cracked on me. Have ever had a starter fail in this way and I have installed dozens. Supplier will not refund because it's bee n over a year since purchased.
