Kitchen Game-Changer – Quick, Easy, and No Tears!
I absolutely love my Geedel Food Chopper! It has made meal prep so much faster and more enjoyable. Chopping onions used to be the worst part of cooking for me, but with this manual chopper, it’s done in seconds—and no more tears! The slap mechanism is satisfying to use and gives me nice, even cuts every time. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. I just rinse it or pop it in the dishwasher and it’s ready to go. The compact size makes it easy to store, and the bright red color adds a fun pop to my kitchen. Whether I’m dicing veggies for a stir-fry, mincing garlic, or even chopping nuts for a salad, this chopper handles it all like a pro. For the price, you really can’t beat the convenience and quality. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to save time in the kitchen without sacrificing results!

This one will do the` job and almost clean itself!
It comes completely apart in four pieces very easily and washes off even easier. I reassembled it in seconds with its base to rest on until next time. It's sturdy and takes whatever you throw at it. I'm a big guy, at well over 6 foot tall and well over 240 lbs, with nice guns. I slam the top of this chopper like I mean it, and it won't break. Not only that, but I did take my ceramic sharpening sticks to it because, well, It is something I just do. Now, my wife barely taps the top to dice up whatever she's fixing in seconds. I tend to break cutting boards with this. The blades don't need sharpening at all, but it does make cutting up your food far easier and quicker, as well as much quieter. (lol) We've had this for a few weeks now, and it's still working just as strong as ever. If you get this model, you will end up being very happy for a long time. UPDATE: After a little over 2 years of extreme use, I over tightened the clear tube and broke the stops off. I do mean extreme 'use and abuse' on my part. Completely my fault. I am getting another one. Too bad they don't sell just the clear tube!

Top fills up with water in the dishwasber
Update: I've had this chopper for 2 months now, and yes, I bought it new. I have used it every day for the past two months to chop nuts. This morning I noticed that the plastic cup had broken and it left bits of plastic in my food. Its in the recycle bin now ****** When I put this chopper in the dishwasher the top filled up with water and there is no way to clean it out except to turn it upside down and shake it around to drain it in the sink. The problem is that I don't know if its just water or soapy water (likely the latter) or if the water will get in the food I am chopping. Its too late to return it so I guess this one goes to the recycle bin. Otherwise its a good chopper although its A little cumbersome to take apart and put back together. The blade cover is big and tricky to line up with the blade and the bottom is hard to take off the dish for cleaning. As a chopper I would give it 4 stars, but the water and cleaning are a deal breakers for me.

Just average. This would be for smaller jobs.
The load up compartment was smaller than expected, and it took more slaps to chop the veggies than expected, but it did get the job done. I would probably look for a different style chopper next time.

Good idea; poor execution
I purchased this chopper expressly for the task of chopping onions for use in my meatloaf recipe. Last night was the first time I've made meatloaf since getting it and it didn't take long to discover that this chopper simply isn't up to the task. I prefer sweet onion in my meatloaf, usually about half of a medium-sized one and it immediately became obvious that it was too big for this device so I had to halve it again and then once more (cutting the onion to eighths) before any of it would fit in the chopper. After closing it up I tried using it to cut the onion but the blade kept getting caught in the onion and not retracting, no matter how firmly I hit it. I had to pull up hard on the plunger each time it got stuck for the first 10 or so "chops", after that it started self-retracting on its own. When I thought I had that first bit of onion chopped properly I opened it up, only to find that some parts were chopped extremely fine, and yet there were still a lot of unchopped pieces. I also found it difficult to get the chopped onion off the black base of the unit. Next, I tried chopping another piece of onion directly on my cutting board, and that worked okay but there were still a lot of large, unchopped pieces that end up between where the blade is and the inside wall of the clear part. The blade simply does not extend far enough to get those pieces. After futzing with it a few more minutes I tried cleaning it, gave up, and just chopped the rest of the onion I needed by hand with a knife. Cleaning the unit later took almost 10 minutes, and looking at it today I can see it still needs more cleaning. Guess what's going up for sale at my next yard sale?

Flimsy plastic
The idea is good it’s just cheap some one should make this out of stainless steel and give it a reasonable price then I would be more pleased

Can't chop things without complete disassembly.
The chopping area is not tall enough for half an onion. In order to put things in the chopping area you must take out the blades and the cover separately as they are not attached to each other. This means that to put the blades back in you firt put the blade cover back in, then try to line the blades back up with it, then try to rotate that lot together to line up with the clips, without tipping the stuff you want to chop back out. Not ideal.
