Did well, and still is!
Honestly it met my expectations! I bought it about 2 months ago to put it in my micro atx case, with a 450 watt psu and 8Gb ram, with an FX 6300. And it performed superb! I over clocked it with AMD Overdrive to 850Mhz Core and 1,000Mhz Memory. I bought it to play COD WaW Zombies and boy did it exceed what I thought it could do. This card isn't for Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3 or any high demanding game as it's just an entry level card. But it does perform well for most games you throw at it. I maxed out WaW Zombies with Antiailising (sorry if I misspelled) on 4x at 1280x720 (720p). I always played Minecraft a bit, it did well there too. But honestly for being an entry level card, it performs well, it's quiet, even at 100% fan speed. Nice little Card for the price!

Great for the Price
Plugged this thing into a 7-year-old mid-level desktop, without replacing the CPU or adding any memory. (And with only limited experience fiddling around inside computers.)It now plays Starcraft II on the near-highest settings on my HDTV. All I was asking for, so I'm happy. It can play Skyrim on high settings with minimal struggle, so that was nice, too.If you find yourself in a similar situation, don't expect PS3-level performance, but you may come close in some cases. The power draw for this is pretty low, and I almost just plugged it in with the standard 300W already in the computer, but I ended up replacing it with a Corsair CX 430 Watt, just to be safe.

Buggy, with a short lifespan
Junk, lasted 4 months and died. It has no sleep mode so you can only turn off the PC or hibernate. Sometimes display comes up garbled, sometimes not at all. This morning, I turned the machine on, and the task bar just kept flashing and Windows wouldn't boot. Restarted and now there is no display at all. Tried re-seating the board. Pulled the card and went back to the onboard video and everything is normal.

For Basic Gamers
I wasn't looking for any huge upgrade in the gpu department, and this was the best fit. I just wanted to game basic games on basic settings and this makes the world of difference if you've never tried anything advanced. I play Civ V and now it plays super smooth and I am very pleased. One knock of the star was because it is probably a bit pricey still and and another star because it didn't fit exactly into my case which is a factory one from HP. I had to straighten the metal piece that slides into the outputs slot, but after that everything has worked well.

Needs More Power Than Advertised
This card was intended to replace a Radeon 5670 in an older machine I've got which has a 400w Power Supply. That meets the minimum requirements listed by the manufacturer for the R7 240... and while the card did function, it barely functioned and had tremendous performance issues, and the power drain caused the sound card to malfunction. I was forced to re-install the 5670 to get my machine just to function again. If you're looking at this card, be sure you have in excess of the minimum power specs listed.

Awesome! Buy one! 5star!
Awesome! I play world of tanks and I can set everything on max settings and the details an smoothness of game is flawless. Was not expecting to perform this well. My wife plays the Sims 3 and has all them expansion packs, put settings on max and the game runs very smooth and is very stable! Has built in processor application to adjust cpu settings we run on max. Card performs great and runs cool. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but get quality picture and gaming experience. On compact pc the card sticks out past the side panel so just cut so card could stick out about quarter inch, knew this when purchased though lol. Buy it. Worth many times more than what you will pay!

Nice graphics
A fairly decent board. For the interested geeks, the system has an ASROCK H81M-DGS R2.0 Motherboard with a Celeron G1840 dual core processor running at 2.8ghz with 8 gig of ddr1300 ram and an absurdly large hard drive. The OS is Linux-Mint 16 64bit. It's mainly a server but I have installed steam. It runs the Half Life 2 Lost Coast video stress test at 140fps (I know, not a good benchmark but, since 3D Mark isn't available on linux steam, this gives a reasonable idea of performance and can be run on all the steam supported OSs. This makes it a reasonable comparison measure). It gives good value for the money.

Cant do much but restart game so I replaced this R7 with my trusty four years old GT 240 that has been working like a charm
FPS between 9-14 piece of cow dung keeps changing resolution and when playing online games the screen goes black. Cant do much but restart game so I replaced this R7 with my trusty four years old GT 240 that has been working like a charm. Need RMA. Definitely zero recommendations.
