Absolutely love it!
Santa came early... a gift from my husband! He had me open it before Christmas so that I can start the lettuce. The product box is sturdy and the items inside the box are all protected by plastic wrap and set in sturdy cardboard holders to keep them secure. All items were included as advertised and in pristine condition. A quick start card gives 4 steps to set up the device, plug it in, and then follow the easy-to-read and easy-to-understand instructions on the display panel. These include setting the clock, setting the light timer, selecting the item I'm growing (the lettuce), adding the water, adding the liquid plant food, and inserting the pods. There's further information on the inserts that came with the device and the pod boxes, including what to do if you have hard water or city water. I can't speak to connecting it to the internet for Alexa assistance, because I don't have Alexa. Overall, it was so easy to put it all together and have it begin its work! It makes a beautiful addition to the room we have it set up in. The light is very bright, but it can be dimmed as needed. On this first day I'm so very pleased with it! I'll be back when I'm at a point of assessing its functionality and growing power! By the way, I'm an avid gardener (30+ years of gardens!) and this is my first time trying anything like this! DAY 3: All 9 pods have growth. I've added photos (after the seed pack photos) -- one of all 9 pods showing the growth and a closeup of 4 pods. I'm thrilled at these early results! I'll be back to update again soon. DAY 10: The covers are off! They probably could have been removed 2 days ago, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't rushing the process. They all look healthy! These are AeroGarden's "Garden Greens" package - green and red lettuce. According to the instructions any "darkish" spots indicate that those are red lettuces. I do see some dry tips, but that happens with all brand new seedlings, so I'm not concerned. I'm very pleased with the results to date and I'll continue to update for those who are interested. 😁 Added a photo to show the unconvered greens. DAY 21: Added a photo to show everything growing and looking very healthy! It's just about time to start pinching off a few leaves to promote thicker growth. Not too long from now I'll be pinching off leaves for small salads! As someone who has been an "outside" gardener for 30+ years, it absolutely delights me to be growing salad greens inside through the winter. At this point I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product and hope everyone who buys it enjoys it as much as I have!

Bought - Open Box from Amazon
This is the 2nd of two that I bought open box from Amazon. The first one arrived in non-working condition (somebody obviously swapped their old broken one for the new one in the box). I sent it back defective with a comment on the switchero. The second one I ordered was like $10 more in cost for open box. But when it arrived, it had been opened, but never touched. Never setup. It was literally brand new. I was ecstatic about this. I love it. The only thing I would say is that if you are purchasing this because of the wifi App only - DONT! go for the Harvest without the app. The app is mostly worthless, when it works. It doesn't do a notification when you need to add water, or when you need to add fertilizer. You can, change settings via the app and look up recipes and turn it off / on but that's all its good for. Overall, I am 100% happy with this purchase.

Great AeroGarden!
My wife loves her AreoGardens and this one is definitely a keeper. Larger size than her other easy to maintain, great build quality and grows plants like bok choy, lettuce and even cherry tomatoes extremely well.

My PopUp Garden
A transplanted Texan (pun intended!), gardening in Las Vegas been akin to plowing hell for the last 20 years BUT my green thumb has been rejuvenated! 🤣 My AeroGarden Bounty was very easy to set up. At my age and getting a little free about remembering things, the Bluetooth feature is wonderful and simple to use, reminding me when to add water/nutrients. There are notifications about plant care like thinning. My rocker husband (as in roll - not chair) gets a kick out of spotting the sprouts. I don’t understand why Amazon urges me to mention “thickness” in my review but I placed mine on top of a small bookshelf my granddad built around 1925, which is roughly 11” wide. My first photo shows the nine pods I planted in initial setup: back row is five cherry tomatoes, four herbs in the front: mint, basil and two chives. These I’ll transplant to window pots. Other photo shows individual pod under a cap, removed when leaves touch the top - time for this varied from shortest (cherry tomatoes) to mint at the longer end. Will amend review as first plants mature.

Fun little project and yolu get to eat the results...
I bought this for another plant growing project (ferns) but it came with herbs so I thought I would start with those. Setup was very easy and it's almost impossible to mess it up. I am using only distilled water so I won't have mineral issues (lime buildup) in the system. After several weeks, I finally spotted something growing...by 6 weeks in I had about 5 of 9 plants sprouted and growing. After 8 weeks I had to contac5t Aero Garden to replace the 3 that never sprouted and this was easy (annoying I had to do it but easy to complete). That's when the problems started. Some of the herbs are fast growing and quite tall. I have to of these taking over the world in my kitchen. I cut them back daily - I am not kidding. I could easily now start an herb factory selling Dill and Basil. The mint is now taking off and fighting for it's quarter of the kitchen. Meanwhile the slower growing plants have little chance for light. Keeping the peace is a daily task. The poor 3 new plants have not yet spouted. Luckily I have them all along the edge. Unluckily, the light is now raised as far up as it can raise and the Dill is still trying to outrun my scissors. I have cut a lot of the dill and mint out trying to make room for the new plants - but it is obvious if you have some no-shows in the original batch you are in for extra work to get replacements to grow (if they ever do). I am using window sunlight to try to help the new plants. Meanwhile I am learning to spice EVERYTHING with Dill and/or Basil...I have found some new combinations I really like. The mint is great in Tea. I would actually advise people new to this to plant the slow growing plants first, and add the faster and taller ones later. This would actually give the slow growers a chance to spread out a little before being buried under the fast growers foliage. Water is now becoming an issue. I use only distilled water and I thought I might go through a gallon every now and then...but it is already taking a gallon every 5 or 6 days - just Wow. I never understood how much plants need until I paid for it by the gallon! Still, it isn't very costly so I will continue my course. Light is not an issue since it is near a window. The electrical lighting it comes with works extremely well for the fast growing tall plants, but keeping the slow small plants in enough light is a challenge. I am now using the window light to supplement those plants. The controls for the electrical lighting are easy to use and we love the extra light during the evening in a normally dark area of the kitchen. Fertilizing is very simple and no issue with it at all. I am now wondering how long these plants will go for. I am afraid to turn my back on the Dill as it seems determined to take over the world. I often wonder if I waited a few moments if I could see it growing! Please with purchase, and as in all things new to me it has been a learning experience.

Get Ye to Thy Amazon Cart & Buy This Tabletop Farm
I bought this for ye ol’ mom because #COVID-19 & she’s going through chemotherapy treatments. Me mum needed a way to have vegetables 🍅 🥬 in a way that worked with her body & her senior living building. It was on sale a bit and when you register it via the AEROGARDEN website, they will send you coupons but the prices aren’t that good so just buy your additional farms here on Amazon. I “planted” (aka put the pods into the water) these seeds a few days ago and will deliver (curbside, y’all) the system to my mother in a few weeks. Since she no longer has her own space, this is the perfect food source (and fun source) for her. I own a smaller version & I love it. If I had my way, I’d buy all their models and be the true Urban Farmer I know I could be. Super easy set up! Use distilled water! I like their lack of plastic for shipping Clean this out at least monthly Show off your green thumb Why wait? Buy one and feel good about taking steps to improve your options for fresh nutrients.

Fanatic!
I love this system. I cook a lot of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine because of food allergies to wheat and dairy products. However, ingredients for these cuisines are hard to source in my area. So I have a few of these systems I use to grow things like Thai basil, Holy Basil, Cilantro, Sawtooth Coriander, Mint etc. I buy the seeds and sponges and germinate them myself. System pretty much does all the work for you. My image is after a 1/3 harvest of Thai basil that’s been growing for about 4 weeks. It grows way more than you would imagine, especially with basils. I highly recommend this system to anyone who loves cooking with fresh herbs. Also, it really hasn’t had any impact on the electric bill. Would not mind buying another eventually.

Seed Germination is Unreliable
The device is a good one and works as described, but the seed pods are not reliable. A large part of the cost of the package (and convenience of this expensive model) comes from the inclusion of pre-seeded cones that sit in the machine. There are nine slots. Unfortunately, in our package, only six germinated (multiple pods of basil all germinated) and three did not (thyme, chives, and mint). I understand that there can be no guarantees with germination, but a 2/3 success rate is lower than what I would expect as reasonable for a package at this price point.
