The product listing describes these glasses as (and I quote) "BUILT TO LAST: Thick, durable and sturdy....They are designed to last and will not crack from a slight tap or gentle drop.". Based on the description, we bought them, even though there were no reviews of them on Amazon. BAD DECISION. Folks, IMHO the Lav Clear glasses we received were the thinnest and most delicate glasses we've ever purchased. Our cheap Libby glasses bought at Walmart, and Bed Bath and Beyond, are much thicker, and much sturdier. Moreover, the boxes the Lav Clear glasses came in from the manufacturer (the boxes that were wrapped with bubble wrap and enclosed within the Amazon shipping container), were made of extremely thin cardboard. To make things even worse, instead of having foam or corrugated cardboard wrapping around each glass to protect it during shipping as one might expect, the glasses were separated only by thin vertical cardboard sheets no thicker than the sides of your average cereal box. Due to the very thin walls of the glasses, combined with the skimpy boxes they came in, two of the 12 we ordered arrived broken into many pieces. Since the manufacturer / seller did not include a sheet advising us what to do if the product arrived broken, we had no choice but to return the whole batch to Amazon as "Shipping box undamaged but some interior contents broken" (or whatever the precise wording is). By comparison, we recently received totally intact a 32-piece set of stoneware mugs, dishes, and bowls, that had very thick cardboard padding around each and every piece, and extra padding around the product boxes as well. You could probably have dropped the Amazon box onto a concrete floor from waist level, and nothing would have broken. Plus, they had a card advising us that "we realize your stoneware goes through a lot of handling before it gets to you; if something arrives broken, please contact us and we will make it right".

I love these glasses. They are easy to hold, pretty to look at, and hold 8 oz. what’s not to like,,,
