If you do a lot of custom graphics, this is a must. I absolutely love the way this works. Once you get the hang of pulling the string thru the tape, you will never go back to cutting on a car again. his always leaves a nice smooth trim without the need to cut with your knife on the car.

First time user installing vinyl wrap, cuts very well however it did come unstuck at some locations causing the cut to become slightly malformed. Could be I didn't press hard enough to stick it down although I was sure I did, more likely the glass/metal was too cold, my garage is not heated and outdoor temp was 48F.I would recommend this product to others just press hard to make sure it sticks.

Bought this to use on some vinyl tail light tint. Quality is good, sticks to paint well, but doesn't seem to like to stick to chrome at all, not sure why that is? too smooth? too cold? I dunno. Using it is pretty simply once you get the hang of it, but I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos so you can get the technique down for separating the string from the tape. It was a good price for this 3M stuff, so it made no sense to go with a brand that is no where near as proven as them.

Works As should

Torn with how it works. It adheres decently to pretty durable, not too thick, butttttt it doesn’t slice vinyl that well. Ruined some panels that I was trying to do because no matter what I did. Even with a guide or even giving it some leverage by cutting the vinyl where I put the tape at. It stilled struggled with cutting it.

Utilizzato solo una volta, con un adesivo piuttosto spesso. Sebbene io sia un pasticcione, è stato facilissimo applicare il nastro sulla linea immaginaria che volevo. Finita l'applicazione dell'adesivo, mi è stato difficile estrarre il filo, perché avevo lasciato un tratto libero si, ma non su una superficie (non potevo materialmente). Ad ogni modo, con una lama, sono riuscito a liberare l'anima, e da lì, scorrendo con le dita lungo il nastro, e tirando con l'altra mano, ho cominciato a tagliare. La pellicola che avevo usato era a strisce, quindi ho dovuto "cominciare" più tagli. Alcuni senza difficoltà e perfetti, in alcuni ho dovuto dare un colpo secco. Qualche taglio è meno preciso, a causa dello strattone, o per colpa del poco materiale da tagliare. Quindi suggerirei di avere una buona quantità di adesivo oltre il taglio, perché così il taglio è perfetto. Quando invece c'è poca roba, il nastro può tendere a staccare il di più, invece di tagliare. Comunque, lavorando bene, con calma e cura, si ottengono risultati eccellenti con estrema semplicità. Ripeto che io ho tagliato una carta adesiva spessa, non era esattamente un wrapping, e dove le condizioni erano quelle giuste, il taglio è stato perfetto. La prossima volta saprò come fare per ottenere un risultato eccellente
