Beware: stopped working just past one year
The battery initially worked fine…until it abruptly quit being recognized by the laptop. No change in use or care - it just quit working. Must be a manufacturing defect.

Legitimate
My choices were to buy this battery from Dell for $150 or from OUSIDE for half the price. I was reluctant at first, but the reviews appeared favorable. This battery was easy to install and I let it drained as recommended. I charged it up for 12+ hours and its holding its charge. Its giving me a good 7+ hours. This company and product are legit.

Everything ok
It worked well on a Dell XPS 15 9560 until, suddenly, it wasn't recognized anymore by my laptop after 13 months of average use.UPDATE 1/24/2022:Even though my battery was out of warranty, the manufacturer gladly sent me a new replacement free of charge and it's working perfectly. Could not be happier with their customer support.

Fits XPS15
Make sure you open up your laptop and see what battery is actually installed. So many vendors that say their battery fits an XPS15, many don't, this 56W version actually fits my XPS. The battery life is insane, I went from 10 min max before being dead to 4.5 hours before dying. Going strong and no charging issues.

Limited Battery Power
Battery life expires quickly. Shows 100% while plugged into the laptop. Drops to 99% the moment the cord is disconnected. Basic web search and word processing uses power quickly. Overall, about 2 hours of battery life.

So Far So Good
I finally decided to upgrade my factory issued Dell battery for my Precision 5520 that got maybe a max or 1 or 2 minutes unplugged before my laptop died. I installed this battery pretty easily and so far, it is holding up quite well compared to my old one. The Dell Command Power Manager software recognizes this as a genuine Dell battery and states it's currently in excellent condition.

Worked just as offered.
This battery has worked perfectly and lasts 6+ hours on a single charge. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and had no issues. The installation was very simple and only takes 10 minutes at most. A very reliable product.

Won't hold cgarge
It won't hold a charge and I waited too long to call a warranty claim. My laptop is dead every time I try to use it.
