Once installed, it anchors well and the cleat tie off is fine when you figure it out. As someone with little DIY experience, the instructions sucked and I had to spend significant time watching videos for installing this. I do appreciate the multiple installation tools they provided though. I ended up using screws on the centered cleats, and rivets on the far end eyes with marine goop in the hole. No issues so far

I bought this anchor trolley to outfit a bigbox store discounted 12' fishing kayak. The system arrived within the specified time and was complete with all of the parts. Because my 'yak is inexpensive the stainless screws and nuts did me no good because of very limited access to the inside surfaces. I had to acquire stainless screws from Lowes to install the trolley. One package of 3/4" stainless sheet metal screws and one package of 1 1/2" stainless sheet metal screws and I was in business! There was plenty of cord for a 12' yak and the installation was easy.If you have to use sheet metal screws in your installation, pre drill the holes with a 1/8" drill and put the screws in with a regular hand held screwdriver. Turn the screws to snug but no tighter to prevent stripping the hole and having to use a larger screw.I would recommend this kit to any handy cheapskate in an instant. The reason for 4 stars is that the manufacturer is in China. :-(

the anchor cleat is a bit tricky to install due to the bolts and nuts as opposed to rivets and the pulleys are a little loud. but it works as intended.

Easy to install

I bought this for my kayak with crappie fishing in mind. Install was easy and it definitely makes sitting in one spot a breeze. If the wind changes direction, it's just a simple pull of the cord and I'm back to fishing. Gives me a chance to keep my line in the water and my hands off the paddle

So I really liked this anchor trolly system except for one thing: There was no mounting hardware long enough for the cleat included.

This trolley system was very simple to install. It works very well on my kayak. I did not uses the cleat that was provided as I thought it stood too high and would hang up on things, additionally where I mounted the cleat that I used was not accessible from the inside of the kayak. I used tri-grip rivets to hold the zig-zag cleat that I did use. Of it had come with the zig-zag style cleat I would have given 5 stars.

The anchor trolley is perfect for my kayak. Plenty of paracord to run through and have extra. Mounting was just as easy. Recommend this product.
