Gamma Sports Supreme Overgrip for Tennis, Pickleball, Squash, Badminton, and Racquetball Racquets, Multiple Pack Sizes and Colors

This tape is great for tennis racket grip but also works well for baseball bats. Easy to install, lots of great colors, affordable price, and very comfortable.

The Gamma Supreme overgrip is what you want for playing - it has a very nice tack that prevents the racquet from turnning in your hand. It is comfortable. The packaging makes the grip easy to prepare and wrap the racquet handle. There is a thin clear plastic to be removed from each grip that allows easy separation from their roll and protects tackiness. In addition, there is a 1/4" narrow adhesive strip on one end that lets you anchor the overgrip to begin wrapping. Take care to wrap the handle with the tacky side out. Of course, the tackiness diminishes after 5-10 outings which is to be expected, but I found that I could wash the grip with soapy water once or twice to renew the tach and white color (if you're into saving money). The white color means that it looks a dirty after a half dozen uses, but this is also an indicator of how long you've used it. If you rotate your racquets, this is a plus. Quality product.

Played semi competitive amateur tennis many years ago, have tried and gone through a medley of different types of grips/wraps. Understanding that this is a versatile grip, good for many different sport racquets, but this review on the gamma grip is exclusively for tennis racquets. While the feel, texture and comfort is often more subjective than not, there are a few observations worth noting: 1. Aesthetics: it’s a decent looking grip (black), goes well w/ any color/type of tennis racquets. 5/5 star 2. Comfort: has a good feel, subtle softness. 5/5 Star Can overlay another layer (sometimes we’ve done that) to increase cushion but it also adds bulkiness which may not work for some. 3. Durability: each new grip generally lasted through 7-10 matches (2-3 sets) with some degradation only. In recent times, playing for pleasure only by it seems to last quite a bit longer, months perhaps longer to years depending on frequency of play. 4/5 star 4. Ease of putting on: it’s fairly straightforward and even if one doesn’t get it quite right the first time around, re-do’s do not effect the grip whatsoever. 5/5 star 5. Absorbency: As expected, when brand new, absorbency is generally better but it’s comparable with other brands, if not better 4/5 star 6. Tackiness: It offers decent tackiness, but not the most tacky, it works. 4/5 Star 7. Value: Good value even better if a discount is offered; often see 3 grips/pack at sporting stores >$8 per pack. 5/5 star Keep in mind, there are other Gamma grips that may offer more cushion or more tackiness but at different price points. Update: following degradation of the grip after many usages, begin to see and leave remnants or residue on the hand; also degradation of the grip also occurs even if unused beyond a certain point in time >1 yr (signs of flaking)

Easy to apply. New grip reassuring. I have less paddle twisting/better control with my small arthritic hands. Helps secure paddle to avoid dropping.

These were the first overgrips I experimented with when I started playing pickleball 2 years ago. After being familiar with the brand from previously playing tennis, it seemed like a safe bet. After trying lots of other brands I have come full circle to considering these to be near perfect for me, just enough tacky-ness with out being overly sticky. The extra length gives you plenty of options for adding a few extra wraps at the end cap to provide a bit of "stop". Great price too.

Only used twice since purchase but so far so good. Grip is simple to apply/install and does exactly what I bought it for. Grip keeps sweat at bay while helping to prevent raquet/paddle from twisting with shots outside the sweet spot. Helps with vibration also.

I had used Gamma Supreme Overgrip before switching to Wilson Sublime grip. Also, i used Tite Grip enhancer with the Wilson Grip and effectively stop using overgrip. However, I noticed my tennis racquets gains some weight with the Wilson Sublime (approximately 0.2 oz) with usage due to moisture build up. This effectively changes the swingweight balance and had to dry up the handle after playing. So i went ahead and tried Head SofTac Traction grip but my hands keep slipping of the grip even with Tite Grip enhancer. I probably used the Head SofTac for almost 2 months and one day decided to buy a Gamma Supreme Overgrip from my local Tennis shop and stop racquet handle slipping from my hands. This effectively solve the slipping issue but at the same time made the racquet handle a grip bigger and swingweight balance slightly different. To address the swingweight balance issue, i decided to take out the Head SofTac grip altogether and replaced it with 2 Gamma Supreme Overgrip. The Gamma Supreme Overgrip is durable enough to withstand at least a month of playing 2-3 times a week before replacing it with a fresh overgrip. Price wise the overgrip is very reasonable plus it suits my preference. Tackiness is extended with the use of Tite Grip.

Great grip, but I ordered the pink and it is so light that it looks white. Wish the color had been true to the pictures in the listing.

Ottimo overgrip. Va posizionato tenendolo bene in tensione per evitare che si sposti successivamente nell'utiizzo della racchetta. Morbido e durevole. Abbastanza assorbente, ma con sudorazione molto forte d'estate può risultare scivoloso. Si risolve asciugando ogni tanto il manico della racchetta. Durata superiore a tutti quelli finora provati.
