Just what we needed in our small mudroom area that is off our garage entrance. My daughter always dumped her big swim bag on the floor of our kitchen area after practice making the area look like a big piled up mess. Now she has a spot to leave her swim bag and her school back pack when she comes in the house where no one can see them and they’re not cluttering our floors. We also have a nice, accessible place to store the dog food, and some shoes. Our mudroom is small, so I was happy to find this size bench to fit perfectly in our space. It was easy to put together, but I had a hard time getting the very last screw to go all the way in. I finally gave up, but the legs and shelves were sturdy enough to leave it as it was. I faced that side of the bench towards the wall so you can’t see that screw sticking out. The bench didn’t sit completely flush on the floor, so I put a rubber mat under it and it’s fine. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the look and functionality of it; the ease of putting it together; and the affordability.

I really am glad I purchased this product. It was pretty simple to assemble and once that's done it's very sturdy. It supports my weight without any complaint and even has a reasonable amount of space for my size 13 shoes. And it looks really nice as well. Great product.

This shelf is a really nice addition to my mud room. It was a little smaller than I expected, but I probably should have measured it before purchasing it. If you don't put any shoes on the top shelf, it can store 6 pairs of shoes in the 2 lower and mid levels. If you are willing to put shoes on top and not use the bench feature, you can fit up to 9. You will need to put some on top if you have any tall pairs of boots. They definitely won't fit in any of the lower compartments. I do use the bench feature when I don't have my boots out for the wintertime. It is extremely sturdy, I have no worries of it breaking. One thing to keep in mind: when you're setting it up, it's really easy to accidentally. I installed the legs backwards, so pay close attention to the manual. I had to undo the whole set up before using the bench. Despite the small size and everything, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Because it was only forty dollars and it's a relatively solid build quality.

I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could but I gave it 5 because of the value for the price. My only slight criticism is one of the shelves clearly had black sharpie on it to paint over a scratch. It's immediately covered by the shoes I put on it, so no big deal. Also mine is the brown one, might have been worse with a different color. Positives: very sturdy hardware, almost too much for something this small, however, if you will actually be sitting on it, the strong hardware should hold up well. Easy assembly, 2 hands might be helpful but not required. Comes with a wrench and allen wrench. Negatives: the hardware is bright brass. Mine is kind of in a darker corner so I just went with it, however, I'd think about having spraypaint on hand to paint the brass darker to match. The bright hardware would look pretty bad with some of the other colors. Overall, great buy for the $$, delivered next day.

I bought this bamboo shoe rack bench to organize shoes near the entryway, and it’s been working really well so far. Nice size for small space. Some reviews mentioned they felt it was too small, but the measurements are accurate so it is what it is. Sturdy structure, easily assembled, and it looks pretty good. The bamboo colour blends well with my decor so it’s practical and aesthetically pleasing. The only downside is I’m not too fond of seeing the bolts on the outside. This is easily remedied by purchasing screw caps, stickers, or decals but it would have been nice if they were included; only reason for removing a star as I haven’t gotten around to covering them yet!
