Lumo BodyTech Lift Bluetooth USB Dongle for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (LLD020-DONG)

The dongle's connection to my Lyft isn't stable. I have to unplug/replug the dongle from the USB port periodically or it stops refreshing.Also, the support for multiple users is poor, bordering in nonexistent. My wife and I have to re-pair the dongle to the Lyft each time we switch users, even though we have separate Lyft tracking accounts. I naively assumed we would be able to independently run the Lyft software from our separate user accounts, however, the software WON'T EVEN RUN from a second account unless you quit it in the first account. These issues might be more attributable to the Windows 7 software than the dongle hardware, but I think this is a fair criticism since the software and dongle have to work together.These are the issues with the latest software for Windows 7 as of Dec. 30, 2015. Hopefully there will be an update that provides some relief.This review is only based on the performance of the dongle and Windows 7 software, not the performance of the Lyft itself.

The only reason I bought the thing in the first place was to connect Lumo Lift to my Windows PC.Upon experiencing problems with the aforementioned Windows App and contacting LumoBodyTech support, I was advised that they do not support the Windows app, because (and I quote) "of their unreliability".In other words, they know it's unreliable, they do not support it because it's unreliable but they still advertise and sell the thing. Corporate Cynicism at its absolute lowest.CONCLUSION: Stay as far away from this and the Lumo Lift it accompanies.

Excellent product

I like the Lumo Lift. My problems occurred with the set-up process. Since my telephone is not compatible with the system it was a bit difficult to set it up using the dongle. It appears that the device is working and helping me with my posture.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately the posture monitor which it supports is a disappointment and has been returned.

Still can not figure out how to use it!!!!

I bought the dongle because at the time of my purchase there was no support for Android.The dongle worked as supposed with the windows software. Nevertheless using Windows make me go out of my way so as soon as I've gotten the Android app to work on my Galaxy S3 I've never used it again. Lumo Lift is a great companion.
