I have a couple Tom cats. Both of them became incredibly unruly, spraying on everything, getting into brawls with each other, fur everywhere. The last straw was when one of them decided to mark me as his territory while I was simply holding him. I made several phone calls to the veterinarian’s in the area and they all quoted me north of $300 per cat, ridiculous! I even told a few of them that I would do it myself. I don’t make promises I don’t intend on keeping, so I straightway searched for these on Amazon and was pleased to see they were available, so I ordered a set. I grew up on a farm and we used these things for all our castration needs. With the help of my son, I was able to make quick work of it. Each cat let out a squeal and ran off. After that, they didn’t even notice. Since then their balls have shriveled up and fallen off. Their behavior has massively improved. They’re not spraying on anything anymore, rarely fight and are overall better behaved. I’m thinking about starting a mobile castration service to use up the 98 unused bands, maybe ask for a $15-$20 donation. This would save people the astronomical veterinarian prices and the associated trauma inflicted on their cat from going to a vet.

We use these for castrating our sheep. They work perfectly well. They are cheaper than the ones at the tractor supply store. Easy to use. Easy to get the bands on. They seem pretty durable.

honest it's cheap it's a little flimsy but it's easy to use durable enough for what I needed for I have no doubt if I don't lose it first or leave it out in the weather that it'll last you those hundred bands it did advertise for use with pigs and I'm a little confused by that but I'm going to try it anyway and see what happens I bought it for sheep to be perfectly honest if it'll work for hogs .. absolutely don't think it will but if it does it's worth ten stars at twice the price lol I hate castrating pigs

Bit tricky to get the hang just right if you know what I mean, nudge, nudge. The animal’s bits are no more, if you know what I mean wink, wink, so Those aren’t very durable.So now we have Sue and Black Betty former Ram lambs.

My first time using one of these. I was surprised how easy it was to do. Banded five goat kids in less than 10 minutes. All are healing perfectly, no issues.

This product did not work as designed for my litter of 8 Old English Bulldogges. I put it on and it fit snug but once the tails began to die and shrink the band got loose and started falling off most of the pups. So I ended up getting a sharp scissors and cutting the dead part of the tail off. The pups did not squirm or squeak it was painless. I will use in the future but only to get the tail to die and then cut it off. It shorten the time it took so my pups tails were docked in 3 days

Half the price as a feed store brand, does the same job. Bands are good quality too, no snapping from being dried out

Awesome product, was able to use on 3 of my male goats and within 7 weeks their testicle dropped. I had a goat which I brought to the vets to be casterated and it took him 2 weeks to recover and he was swollen and red for weeks, never bring a male goat to the vet again.

Used this today on a pair of young goats. Worked fine, it’s a little crude in a mechanical sense but does the job.
