We bought this sealer for our business. The item were shipped fast. But it seems either not packed right, or the sealer was not built for rough transportation. It comes with parts broken, so we returned, and get another one, but same issue. We returned again, and not bother to try one more time. I would not recommend this. It was not built to last, and like a plastic toy. If you are looking for something last longer, shop somewhere else.

For a product that operates by heating, it seems appropriate to use a hot-or-not type of evaluation, so here goes: HOT: The device seals well, which pleasantly surprised me because of some prior reviews critical of this product's quality. After less than one day of use, I can't yet vouch for its long-term performance, but so far, so good. NOT: Immediately after opening the box, I wondered if a mouse came with the purchase based on all of the chewed-up cardboard and Styrofoam inside. After vacuuming the debris, it merely appeared as if it were poorly packaged, causing parts to rattle around, possibly explaining why they had various dents, chips, and innumerable scratches. The overall appearance was of something that looks as if it had been used for many years, like an antique from the 1970s owned by someone not fond of thermal sealers. But hey, no one (that I know of) buys such devices for their appearance. Also disappointing: the instructions, which were incomplete and written in such inept English that those of us proficient in English can only wonder what the author intended to convey in some sections. This of course isn't uncommon with products made in China, which suggests they haven't extended much effort connecting with their customer base, because some of us would be happy to translate for free. Relevant to that, I didn't see any manufacturer's name or contact information included in the operating instructions. From the appearance of that very brief document, it appeared suspiciously similar to the instructions included with my last thermal sealer, a scissors-type unit that self-destructed by showering parts inside when I attempted to change its heating wire. Incidentally, the last time I disassembled something I could not reassemble was decades ago when I was a young child tinkering with a tractor. Since then, I've learned to excel in mechanical repairs, including devices considerably more complex than thermal sealers. In retrospect, my last one dearly needed repair instructions to accompany the repair parts included with the device. This one — lacking the scissors-type mechanism — appears to be much more straightforward in terms of replacing the heating element, but its instructions are woefully incomplete in other ways. Ignorance isn't bliss. The assembly sketch (no real instructions, BTW) appears to show washers, but none were included with my unit. It did, however, include a long Phillips screw without any threads. The whole point of complaining about product deficiencies is to help manufacturers make better products — if they are willing to listen. If.

Took 8 minutes to put together. Works good. Packing wasn’t great but didn’t hurt anything. Overall very happy for the price.

Great tool that did exactly what it needed to do. After spraining a wrist, it was challenging to pack our candy products using one hand. This foot-pedal sealer saved the day! Makes things go fast and saves table space.

First off this is packaged so poorly. And the mail carrier didn't make it any better. I had parts falling out on my porch. I have to broken plastic pieces but its not worth sending it back.. the instructions to put it together are just an image.. its a guessing game if you used the right size screw in the right hole. Sealer works but I see it braking or falling apart fast

This pedal sealer works great for sealing quilts, blankets, and clothing for storage. Finding many uses for this pedal sealer. Sumeve customer service is very response!
