I feel like it was worth it for the price. A solid buy. What you see is what you get.. Had to slightly use some mussel during assembly. But super straightforward assembly. I felt the paint was nice as well. Maybe in a few moths I will up date the review after use. But out the box I would say it’s a standard good looking product.

So far so good, two camping trips loaded up with firewood and cinched down with ratchet straps. Works as advertised. I did spray paint all the hardware black as others noted rust issues.

Put together in my living room and under 20 minutes... Tightened on the roof shortly after... Can't wait to use it for a trip across the country.

I went on a trip with a kayak in the bed of my truck. I needed extra space so I got this carrier for my Toyota Tacoma. I advice that you assemble the rack and paint it with a good durable paint. I used a paint with a hammer finish. You will also need to seal all the holes or this thing will rust. I used silicon caulk. Be sure to leave weep holes on the bottom so water can drain out if it gets inside..... So it is a lot of work up front if you want it to last. It is made from cheap steel and has a cheap paint job on it out of the box. It was more narrow than I expected which was a let down. I had to really cram stuff on it. The waterproof bag seems pretty good. It rained on the trip and nothing got wet but like the rack I do not see it lasting long term. Do not over tighten the straps on the bag or it will rip like others have said. I think the price is high for what it is but all in all, "it's ok, I guess."

I guess was not tight down good it didn’t come with locks it was stolen after 3 months off my car..

The excessive amount of bolt on the mounts. WILL TEAR YOUR STUFF UP!! Pretty unhappy with this, I fear I have to keep it now. Garbage!

Great rack and very sturdy even for the bracketry being a hard ABS plastic. It held my 200lb 6' self up there. TAKE NOTE OF YOUR VEHICLES MAX ROOF RACK CAPACITY.
