XPRIT 8.5" Electric Kick Scooter w/Two Speeds, Long Lasting Battery, Up to 15 Miles

First, this scooter is not the Xprit brand as indicated in the listing. It is a Phaewo brand (X10 model) according to the user manual and sticker on the bottom of the scooter. More importantly, the one I received was defective! The scooter powered-on once, my son rode it 20 feet down the sidewalk, and then it shut off and the wheels locked up. It will not turn back on! The battery is fully charged, but the scooter is dead. Very disappointed.

I really apologize for writing this review but I have to be 100% honest my heart was invested in this company and their scooters however I was let down twice I'll explain I purchase there Scooter a different one back in January of this year I have to say at for my first scooter I absolutely wasn't love with the scooter I used it everywhere now this scooter did not have all the bells and whistles that a lot of scooters have but what it did have it maintained its speed it went up hills and I have to say the battery life was crazy like I was hard-pressed one day I tried to just kill the battery it was so hard to kill this battery I just gave up! However later on in the year I discovered because I had to call the manufacturer that this scooter was recall the mud flap had broken off of mine and they also stated that the battery could very well be faulty? But I will say that I took the scooter in the rain not knowing that I shouldn't nothing ever happened to it? It never deviated from its speed or what I was used to it doing even after taking it in the rain so we'll say that that first scooter was amazing but like I stated it was recalledNow for this particular scooter so because of that I wanted to give them a second chance and hope that they fix all their problems in this new scooter would be an amazing upgrade getting the scooter out of the box you can see immediately the difference from the first that I purchased it's bigger and more substantial and definitely adult scooter. So I took my scooter out on its first ride to check all the bells and whistles i road for about two blocks try to conquer a hill didn't do it very successfully I was only four blocks away from my house and I did a couple of laps and then on my way returning home the power shut off and the wheels locked on me? I had just been out for only 15 minutes on the scooter I had to take an Uber home repeat I was only four blocks away not that I didn't want to carry it but it is heavy and because the wheels were locked I couldn't roll it home? Highly disappointed in this scooter and I was really counting on it to be amazing which is why I gave his company a second chance. I really hope that this company will work on their manufacturing and possibly give some of their scooters a test I know that doesn't sound realistic but being that you have to refund people is not great either also I will state that when you get your scooter it's not the same name that advertise in the Amazon ad it's called something else when you get the manufacturers handbookI will say if you were to get a good batch and you get a scooter that actually works I think it would be amazing cuz for the 15 minutes that I did write it it was very fast and it met all specifications that I wanted however I had to return it

Don’t buy this scooter.....The quality seems pretty nice at first glance. It was super easy to just screw on the bars but out of the box front fender was broke clean off. Also at beginning it powered right up and my son took it up street about 50 yards as he was coming back the front tire locked up and scooter turned off completely..! I made sure the battery was 100% charged and still can’t get it to turn back on so I’m just going to return it!!

This scooter was good for my city commute which is 5 miles total each day. The tires were nice as I drove over a nail but due to the pneumatic rubber style, it didn’t hold me up. However, after 2.5 weeks of using it, I hit a bump and it locked up and wouldn’t work for me followed by not turning on. Visually, everything was intact. However, I was stranded and had to get a Lyft ride home. The bump I hit was not large at all, simply a half inch deep or so. This should never happen for a product of this price.The acceleration button can also give you a potential repetitive stress injury from the way your thumb has to push downward the entire time you’re riding. It requires a little help form your legs on hills at 10-15 degrees or more.I am getting refunded by amazon, but I threw the original package away (because I wasn’t going to keep it expecting it to break?) and now I have to pay for packaging it just to return for my refund. However, I am getting refunded for the item. I’m NOT purchasing this again. There are more durable scooters out there.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Super excited when I first got it. Everything was great: the speed, the comfort, battery life. However, as of November 13th, 2019 (19 days after I first got it), the scooter won't turn on anymore. Instead, only the back light is on. (See video).Highly dissatisfied. Luckily, it's still within return window.Note: When I received the box, it said something about Phaewo on the box and a Xprit sticker which implied that this scooter is rebranded from Phaewo.

I was pretty happy with this scooter when I got it, liked everything about it for its price including different speeds, tires' size, folding mechanism; however, my first scooter broke the next day. Front-wheel just locked up and as I liked this scooter a lot I decided to exchange it to the same one. My second scooter worked less than a week before it broke again. Its wheel locked up too. So, if you don't want to spend time exchanging your scooters each week, don't buy it!

Scooter arrived with front fender broken off. After a few days of sitting without operating, on-off button and info display totally stopped functioning. No replacement parts seem to be available! What's up with that? Otherwise, scooter still run on one speed without any indication of what's going on with the battery or speed.

I have been enjoying my scooter for my daily commute and the 2nd speed level gets you up to 15 mph which is pretty fun convenient for me .I make it to work under 10 minutes
