Looking at the reviews and the price it was available I decided to buy this Xmate Sight Mini HD 2.0 megapixel Cctv Ip camera. But this turnout to be the worst deal of my life. The condition of the camera was more cheaper than it's price. It seemed as a used camera. Than too I downloaded the app for it and connected it to my wifi. At 1st it seemed a good deal to me. I contacted my electrician and installed it on the ceiling and arranged a 2-3 pin socket for it's power supply. I was happy to install it and connect it with the WiFi as I was able to get the view of my house on my mobile screen. The next day morning I left for my work and the 1st thing I did was opened the app to look on the footage. I was shocked to see the footage was full of disturbance as if the camera was damaged. I found an option to reboot the camera through my app just to get another surprise. After rebooting I was not at all able to connect to the camera and look at the footage. Just it was written offline. Evening when I reached back to my home, I was welcomed with lots of abuses from my family as the camera speaker was continuously making commands about auto restarting frequently. I was still not able to connect to the camera. I tried to reset the camera manually but all in vain. Finally realized it was defective hence decided to replace the same. I was quite happy very next morning the camera was replaced with a new one. When I opened the box this also seemed like used one. Ignoring this fact I tried to connect it to my app and wifi as well. It was successfully connected and I was quite happy. Since it was a public holiday I was at home and slept in the afternoon just too realize the camera again started making noise about connecting to the WiFi. I connected to the WiFi and then was working fine again. In the evening I went out for 2hrs and came back to get another surprise about camera asking to connect to wifi again. I realised that I had to give permission to connect to my wifi connection to the application in my mobile and I immediately did it. And then it never made that noise and worked fine for next 24hrs. Next to next day morning I got up at 5AM just to realize it made the same command to connect to the WiFi again. All I did was went to Amazon app and made return request for the item. It doesn't end here. I went to the temple same morning and took oath never to buy a cheap product to save money and take this kind of stresses. There were even many more issues about low light conditions, night vision, usage of the app, etc. which I faced, I am not writing it here as it's of no use and only wastage of time.

I have purchased more than six ip security cameras. While they are all generally ok, this product is by far the worst and does not meet the specifications it advertises. To start with 1. there are no supporting brackets as mentioned. 2. No reset button 3. no rj-45 socket for LAN connection. Hence even by chance if the camera works initially, there is no way of resetting wifi connection if trouble arises. Even the LAN connection to rectify the connection is ruled out. Although Amazon was kind enough to replace the product with another piece, it does not help because the model itself is of minimal design.

The picture quality Is very bad he say 1080 p but this camera is 480p very bad

Not able to use

Many people tell to avoid chinese products and this was my first purchase.I purchased this cam on 2nd Oct 2019 and exactly after 1 year and 7 days it started causing problems. Images are blurred and bluish looking.Now I'm helpless as warranty is over. This was life lesson for me to expend a little more and purchase branded ones which work hassle free for years...Think twice before purchasing such cheap products....

Poor quality product, no any customer care executive available any time, no customer support, unable to configure, no any reply for my call and e-mail from your side...Waste of money, waste of time, I am totally irritated. ,😡😡😡, I am giving a only one star but the product is deserved for zero star..
