Good looking with stainless steel, and buttery smooth operation
I got this to put in a stainless steel sink when the kitchen was remodeled with granite, and I've used it two years now. It's really nice. It looks good in the steel sink, and it has smooth as butter operation. The handle is easy to position, and the sprayer works fine in position or pulled out. It's easy to pull out and easy to put back. There's a button on top to change the spray type from narrow stream to a broad sprinkle. I had a cheap pull-out model earlier that probably would have lasted a while longer. But I'm glad I got this. It's a lot less frustrating to use, and with this level of quality, I expect it to have a long lifespan.

Impressive! Glad I got this one!
The faucet seems very well made. My plumber was a little worried about what it would be like, but he was super impressed and loved that it was so heavy. It gave him no problems installing. It has a fast flow (strong pressure) compared to my previous faucet - everything works fabulously. The spray trigger releases when you turn off, so you have to reset it every time. (I tend to turn water off often, to conserve.) The spray doesn’t engage on low flow rate- it needs faster flow. Different than old handheld Moen, but I really like this one.

Excellent craftsmanship, excellent service. Very satisfied.
I almost never give 5 star ratings to *anything* since I like think there's always room for improvement. Given that, the Hangrohe Allegro E faucet has received my highest rating of 4 stars. Around Thanksgiving 2013 my 15-year-old Delta kitchen faucet sprung a leak and I needed a replacement. I bought another Delta only to learn that "Stainless Steel Finish" actually means "Plastic bits spray painted to look like stainless steel". I returned it. Then I purchased a Kohler at Home Depot because the salesman said "That's one of the top brands". The throat was cross threaded. I returned it. The quick connector on the 2nd one was broken, so I returned that one. And a week after installing the 3rd one, it started to drip. So I returned that one and gave up on the Kohler brand. I then decided to search for something made in Germany by a German company. No more 'Made in China' junk! The Hansgrohe name came up on several searches, and Amazon carried the style I wanted. The price for a Hansgrohe is higher than the competition (30-40% higher). This model also requires a relatively expensive $60 stainless steel mounting plate (sold separately) if you're installing in a 3-hole metal sink. I bit the bullet, and couldn't be happier. The faucet is beautifully crafted and performs fantastically. Every part of it is well-engineered - there's no slop anywhere. The handle and mainstem are also very heavy and substantial. In a world where everyday appliances have been devalued by cheap and poorly made Chinese imports, it's really refreshing to use a First World product like the Hansgrohe Allegro E. Their warranty and customer service are also exceptional. If you're the original purchaser, you get a lifetime warranty on the faucet for as long as you use it at its original install location. Here's what their site says: "If you are a consumer who purchased the product for use primarily for personal, family or household purposes, this warranty extends for as long as you own the product and the home in which the product is originally installed." Wow. Regarding customer service, I called their US office and asked if they had any suggestions for minimizing some splashing that was occurring, primarily because my kitchen sink is very shallow. The service rep said he would be happy to send me a small plastic flow reducer to address the splashing. The free replacement part arrived a few days later, and I installed it using only my fingers and a small spoon! Problem solved. The only blemish on this otherwise great faucet is that it has a tendency to drip once or twice after I turn it off. The faucet head holds on to less than a teaspoon of water which doesn't have anywhere to go. To mitigate this, I sometimes run a paper towel over the spray nozzles to absorb this water, and then use the moist towel to polish up the faucet. As I noted, there's always room for improvement. You really do get what you pay for. If you're looking for a beautifully designed and crafted kitchen faucet with a lifetime warranty from a company with a great international reputation, then take a look at Hansgrohe. You'll pay a premium, but the item you purchase may very well be the last item of that kind you ever purchase for as long as you live in the same house.

Excellent customer service
This faucet is perfect for our kitchen, not the omnipresent high arc that would be too dominant. Best of all, Hansgrohe has outstanding customer service. The spray handle had a dribble when used, all the water wasn't being diverted to the spray. It also made an occasional whistling sound. One phone call got a prompt promise to send a new spray/faucet head, no questions asked, no arguments. New faucet head arrived quickly, easy to install and works perfectly. It's tall and elegant, water control handle works smoothly and easily. It rotates between the 2 sinks smoothly. Good water pressure. From other reviews, I will need to tighten the pull out spray head maybe once a year. The hose seems sturdy. Had it for 3 months now and am very happy with it.

Don't buy this kitchen faucet
This is a horrible product. We had the older model of the same product for 12 years and it was great. We replaced it with this product, but all it does is leak from the head after you turn it off. You have to stand there and shake it to make sure it is definitely off....EVERYTIME~! Also, if you want to switch it to the "rain" like feature, you have to have the water on high. I don't like this because you can't just rinse things with low level of water. This wastes so much water and is going to raise my water bill. Don't buy it.

Very Impressive Faucet
Have been using this faucet for a couple of months and it is very impressive. The quality is way above anything I had before. It is noticeably built with better materials. Its operation is flawless and the steel optik finish is very nice looking. To get the maximum flow rate you need to take out the flow rate suppressor but it is made to be taken out or left in depending on your preference of flow rate and water conservation. I had a plumber install it but it did not take him very long to do it. This faucet definitely seems worth the extra money you pay for it and if it holds up well over time it would actually be a bargain.

still have this 3+years later and still works well. There is a tendency for the hose that attaches to the pull out part of the tap (i.e. the hand held nozzle) to come slightly loose, causing a dribble under the sink as there is nothing sustantial to grab old of when screwing them together. I fixed it by wrapping white plumbers PTFE/Teflon tape around the thread and it's not been a problem since
