Love this rice. I cook it in the instant pot with spices and it tastes delicious.

Rice is easy to prepare and has a lighter texture than typical brown rice. Pleasant flavor. A good item to stock in pantry along with other sprouted grains for improved nutrition. Wife likes it too, she usually prefers white jasmine.

This is by far our favorite rice for several reasons: It is sprouted and brown, which makes it far more nutritious than any other rice. It cooks in only 30 minutes. It is a plump, moist short grain rice which still maintains the right amount of texture...in other words it is still somewhat chewy in a good way. It tastes fantastic! In short, it is the most perfect rice we have ever had and the only one we use since we discovered it. Compared to the grocery store and other online pricing, Amazon offers the best price at this time.

Good quality but the price is high!

I started purchasing this brown rice two years ago when I learned to make my pups homemade food. A good quality brown rice was recommended for proper amount of vitamins. I not only use it in their food to slow cook, but I had to buy a rice cooker so I could cook some up within a few minutes to feed to my chicken ladies, and my pot belly pig boys. I also enjoy it, and I usually eat it plain because the basic flavor is delicious! It's always fresh, and no matter how I choose to cook it, it cooks up beautifully. I do recommend this rice if you're wanting a cook tasting rice at a decent price.

Cooked up perfectly in my new Cuckoo IH pressurized rice cooker. Nice plump grains, firm, but not hard, consistency. Light nutty flavor. In the bag the rice grains didn't look much larger than a bag of regular brown rice I had. But once it was cooked they were very plump. Even bigger than another brand of sprouted rice I had tried. If you like brown rice, you will like this a lot. And unlike sticky rice, it doesn't clump together nearly as much. However, it is not too dry either. So far I have tried a Korean style white rice, an off brand sprouted brown, regular brown rice, brown rice sprouted in the rice cooker, and this. This is the winner.

I'm not a fan of brown rice, having grown up on white Minute rice mostly but this sprouted brown rice is GREAT and so I suck it up as far as the price goes and order some when I"m craving good rice. Keep it in your fridge or freezer if you don't use rice often to keep it fresher wish the price was more budget friendly, I'd get it more often

I had heard of Gaba Rice, but this order was my first experience with it, so I cooked as suggested, and found it to be a bit more chewy than I would prefer. But it was good, made wonderful creamy rice soup, and more than one breakfast. I felt that I had eaten a very healthy food, and will continue to cook and eat Gaba Rice.
