I just received mine.It is brand new but the head does not tilt.I played with the knob multiple times and still sticking out and does not tilt.

Hi. The knob on the right side simply controls tension. It does not adjust the head. You simply push it up (you will hear faint clicks when you do that) or pull it down (smooth action).Also, it's difficult to get enough leverage if it's not attached to a wall. So if you haven't installed it, you will have hard time testing it by just holding it in your hand.This is my second all-arounder and I love them.

Will it works in Singapore without modification or addon ?

Is this something I can install myself or does it need to be installed by a professional plumber? Will I need additional parts?

Depends...if you have tile walls....you will need to drill through them(4 holes). It is best if you can hit a stud.. The next issue is the stub from the wall....has to be a certain length to match the new fitting. I did new construction when I installed mine....made it much simpler. If you have any doubts....consult with a plumber, but be sure to show them what you have...definitely not a. "Normal" product for them.
