My son has a fe grands worht of carp kit, but he loves this for stalking, and its brought in some pretty decent size fish on this tiny little rod, so if your thinking of grabbing one for your kids, or just to go down the river with, i would say you cant go wrong. it fits in his pocket, insane....but is super strong.

More useful for kids but still practical for adults... cheap and it's a good bit if kit to throw in your bag as a spare or if you go camping or something.Mine came with one of the eyes loose but should be fixable with super glue, just a mild inconvenience.

I mean what do you expect the line real and rod is cheaply made but could be worse not bad 🤷‍♂️

Might catch the odd small fish.

Lowest section doesn't stay in place and keep moving.Bracket where you attach reel is very low quality aluminium so therefore doesn't work properly and reel is moving.

Bit of fun have tried it shame it keeps collapsing

My son used his pocket money to purchase this little pen rod. He managed to catch a little carp around 1lb on it and it kept him entertained for hours. I would highly recommend this product as a stocking filler or small gift for an early angler

Bit light and slightly flimsy but ideal for the backpack or the boot of your car. The reel is small and works fine. It’s also filled with nylon line so just add a mepps and it’s ready to go. Just what I was looking for- for occasional use.

My brother did and broke it hmffff would have got 5 stars had it been a little more sturdy for foolhardy people... didn’t even get it to the lake but to be fair this is a fun bit of kit... great for poaching 😉

Great feel reel but the end eye popped off after a couple of uses, shame coz cut my fishing day short.

Great little rod for kids, found that line comes off in circles. Might have to take off and put back on but in new to fishing, kids live it

The rod it’s self snapped upon set up was very disappointing as was excited to use, personally think could just be manufacture default
