We bought this horn for our SMART car that had a horrible dinky sounding horn on it. You can't honk at someone with command presence when your horn goes "meep"! That's where this air horn comes in! This horn not only HONKS but it is LOUD!! It will definitely get your attention and let people know you're there. Installation was easy and pretty much self explanatory as you pretty much follow the wiring for your original horn. (Pay attention to the wiring and how your original horn wiring is). I will say the wiring instructions printed on the side of the horn box was tough to follow but as I mentioned, as long as you follow how your original horn was wired, you will be fine. I highly recommend this horn as your next replacement or even as a secondary. You will for sure get someone's attention!

Haven't installed this yet, so can't give an honest review. Bought it because I have a small foreign car that drivers sometimes don't see in traffic, so I need a loud horn to alert them. I've tried many others that disappointed, so hope this one is the solution. UPDATED JULY 22, 2021: This horn is VERY LOUD and is just what I need to alert inattentive drivers. Installation is simple and easy as well. If you're looking for a loud affordable horn for your vehicle, this is it.

Instructions suck but there are pictures here to show you which colour wires go where. A little high pitch but it is loud! Works well with the factory horn connected with it because you can tap the horn lightly to get only they factory horn to say 'bye' but a split second later if you hold your horn button the relay trips and this horn sounds to blast some unsuspecting 'new' driver! 👍

This is a nice sounding, loud, attention getting horn, which I am using to supplement my car's existing horn. As you may see from many similar horns (I frankly don't see a huge difference between them in terms of the actual horn device), the reviews are not great. I believe the reason for this is that people simply don't understand how to set them up correctly using the relay. If you just replace your existing horn with this one, you may well not be happy with the results. You may not be supplying sufficient power to make the horn loud enough, and you may well blow the horn fuse. You really need to connect horns like this directly to the battery and use the relay. What this company has done is clever, they realized that by including ALL of the parts required to properly setup the horn, they increase the customer's chance of satisfaction with the product. It's a nice "package" overall, I would say this is better than the more expensive Italian alternatives.

Easy install but I took a little more time to discreetly run the wires. Took about 2 hours but realistically it’s an hour job at most. I installed it the same day I got it but when I engaged the horn only the blower motor could be heard engaging no horn (sound) I contacted seller via Amazon but was a third part seller so they put me through directly to the distributor/manufacturer. Surprisingly they responded via email within 20 minutes. Come to find out, even with me being meticulous I overlooked the polarity (+) vs(-) when finalizing my connections. They directed my to the problem immediately. Problem solved. Definitely no Train horn but it packs a wholop for being so small and affordable. Way louder than factory but not a “train horn”

This horn is not as loud as I thought it would be. Wanted it for a motorcycle but put it on my truck.

OMG, this horn is insanely loud! I was hopeful when I bought it out wouldn't let me down and I wasn't! My, new to me, Harley Sportster was missing it's horn and after reading many reviews I decided on this one. I know riding without a horn can be very dangerous as other drivers seem to not see us riders at all! You need a horn that'll grab attention and this model is it! The first time I hit it I actually laughed out loud as I could here the sound echo throughout my subdivision! Buy it!

I purchased 3 units over about a 6 month period. Get them installed works perfectly, use it once or twice on the road and it is dead. Every unit failed after only a few uses. I pulled it out purchased another and reinstalled with the same results. 3 failures shame on me and I am stopping the insanity and buying a name brand replacement. Every unit failed at the wiring harness/connector. None of them got wet and a direct test of the horn to the battery showed it worked. So clearly the quality control of the harness is garbage. I would stay away save yourself the trouble buy a name brand. Customer service was non-existent clearly the joke is on me.

I bought this horn last November and didn’t fit it until now when my new car was delivered ….it is most disappointing. It just doesn’t work. Clearly defective from new. I fit air horns to all my cars and will use another brand from now on

You must set it away from engine bay, the turbine got damaged in 2 days if placed anywhere under the hood, gotta be carefull with its placement, if good vented location will work fine

Works great, even in -35C weather. Only con: longer wiring harness would be nice. Would buy again.

Too big to install on my motorcycle, installed it in my truck instead!
