This is my third purchase of a Luminox watch. The model 3053 is a very reliable, lightweight, and accurate watch. This watch is the first Luminox I've owned with the rubber type band, and I think I like it better than the velcro band or the metal band. Luminox has proven over the years to be an exceptional watch, a working man's watch that one can wear to social events as well. The watch is rugged, good looking and accurate. And you NEVER have to be concerned with being able to see the watch at night...it's almost as bright as a nightlight!! The face of the watch is larger than my 3901 model,and much easier to see. The band is made of some sort of rubber, and is very flexible, and comfortable to wear. I also happen to think that this is the best looking Navy Seals series watch that Luminox makes. You can't really go wrong with ANY Luminox watch, but I think the 3903 model is one of the best Luminox watches made. By the way, I researched this watch extensively on the internet, and the best price I found BY FAR was on Amazon.com. I paid less than $160.00 for this watch on Amazon.com, and that included paying for two day shipping. The best price I could find on E-bay (for buy-it now) was about forty dollars higher. So, do your due diligence, and I think you will find that Amazon.com can rarely be beat on the price of this watch!!

The Navy Seals use this watch. It is the only watch I have purchased that you can see the hands and time in total darkness. In addition, the first one I purchased was the same as this model and I received a lot of very good comments about the watch's looks. Also, the price I paid Amazon was about $50.00 less than my origianal.

I've owned many watches that have been really good. I hunt, fish, camp, mow, and work daily. I only want one watch for everything, and this watch gets it done.High points:-very light weight...surprising-cool factor, hands that light up at night, but not to bright to keep you up. I wear glasses and can still make out the time-very comfortable band- it can't get email, phone calls and text. I'm very tech savvy but I'll be damned if someone is going to teach me down by my watch!Low Points:- the blue hands and black face make it a little tough to see the numbers in low light- this is a high dollar and high quality watch, so you might not want to wear it in all situations. But I do. No scratches; leaks, etc.

I've got a thing for good watches, but I'm also tough on them - I've wiped out stuff more expensive than this in too short a time. The Luminox is tough, the hands are bright enough to see in zero light, and the size, fit, and finish are good.What keeps me from giving five stars is this - This thing runs about a minute fast per month - Not enough for me to replace it, but irritating to have to re-hack it to NIST time every 30 days. Secondly, the rotating bezel isn't as tight as it could or should be - That sucker shouldn't move unless I move it, and this one does too often.That said, it's a great watch, and a I'll likely get another when this one croaks.

Super bright night illumination. Lightweight, tough watch.

The product merchandizing for these watches is incredibly misleading. The Luminox watch I purchased will not change date. I’m disappointed with the purchase and will be returning the product for a full refund.

This watch so far is great... I have only had it a few days and i have had nothing but enjoyment.. The comfort is great... The .5 of the star rating i wish i could retract is that maybe i was overestimating the level of brightness to see out of the night viewing capability... I mean it definately is highly visible at night... Just the way it was portrayed by Luminox that this 100 times brighter thing I guess I expected some sort of blinding effect.. i understand that military personel do not need to be visible from a mile away or anything because of a watch ... I know from experience. All in all definately worth the money and will wear it proudly.. Would definately purchase Luminox products again..

Great price for a Swiss made luminox

8 months into the purchase and the mineral glass steamed up! The watch has been looked after and has never been fully submerged. Not what I was expecting from a watch in this price bracket.
