Surprised..
Pretty darn sharp for the money. I think it's a great deal. Not sure how long it will last, but I would buy again.

using this lino kit with pumpkin to carve
With my previous expirence carving lino tiles these blades seem very sharp and easily cut the rubber stamp piece in the kit... cant wait to see how it works with the pumpkin.I found loosening the nut and putting the blade into the side slot is the best way to put the cutting blade in.

rubber block as expected
I was able to complete my project somewhat successfully. The tool was extremely dull so I had to switch to a mat knife to get the sharpness to do the straight lines needed for the design. Not something I would want a beginner to attempt as the block moves around while cutting.

Get the Speedball version instead.
This was fine because it's inexpensive and good for rudimentary carving, but I couldn't get a smooth-cut line no matter what I tried. Even sharpened the bits, tried cutting different material, but it was no better. All lines came out with ragged edges.I ordered a speedball tool and it's like night and day, works infinitely better. Smooth as can be.

great for beginners
Easy to use..can recommend. They stay sharp for quite a while before having to sharpen.

Easy to use
The media could not be loaded. The mat was easy to carve, the points were useful for different strokes/textures

Cheap, difficult to change out heads
If you’re used to speedball quality, you’re going to be incredibly disappointed. It’s okay for a very basic beginner, but it’s not great. There was a lot of snagging and none of the blades are designed for extremely detailed cuts. You’re better off spending a couple more bucks buying speedball
