🚗 Shift smarter, not harder — skip the skip-shift hassle!
The Muzzys Skip Shift Eliminator is a compact, easy-to-install inline connector that disables the annoying 1st to 4th gear skip-shift in 1993-2025 Chevrolet Camaros and 1997-2019 C5-C7 Corvettes. It installs in minutes without triggering check engine lights or voiding OEM warranties, using high-quality TXL wiring to ensure reliable performance.

Enjoy the freedom to shift as desired!
Works perfectly, light still notifies once and a while, but no interference with shift.

5 Stars 6 years later
Put this on my 2010 Camaro in 2020. Still working as designed over 6 years later. You will get the message on the dash but I no longer have to lug the engine and choose any gear. Easy to install, almost a must have for any GM car that has this.

easy and well worth
My friend popped this on. Works like a charm. Yes, it still comes up on the dash but I never notice it, never noticed it even before. Hasn't had a single issue and really lets the car do what it supposed to. I think it's stupid some cars even have that function, it's dangerous. Honestly if u get a car that has this, this is the first thing you want to do

Works
Works as described. The light still comes on in first, but no lock out.

As advertised
Works exactly as it should, gets rid of the gate holding it out of 2nd gear at certain rpm upshifts. Lets you choose what gear it belongs in as it should be. Installation wasn't a nightmare on my car (2012 Camaro SS), but not exactly a 1 out of 5 on the easy scale. Once you find the correct factory plug (on top of the trans, driver side about 2/3 of the way back) and get it disconnected without messing anything up, it's a simple plug it in til it snaps into place, then ziptie it in place. Done, enjoy driving without GM telling you how you should be shifting. Would definitely buy it again, and will recommend it to anyone who hasn't installed one yet.

This works... eliminates annoying 1st to 4th skip shift pain
Great fix so far... So annoying to have to intermittently shift from 1st to 4th with a sports car. This simple part so far has elimated that dumb design. GM should have made this selectable, not forced on us. Anyway new part is slick, and very cheap fix. I had to get a local shop to install, but the part ($18) plus install was by far the best $100 I've spent.

Not easy to install.
Product works as advertised and eliminates the annoying second gear to fourth gear skip-shift. It is probably beyond the ability of most home-garage mechanics to install because of the difficulty in accessing the necessary cable on the transaxle. Limited clearance and tight working spaces. Had mine installed by a shop when they had the car up on a lift for other work.

Does what it says.
Works great if you get it plugged in correctly. I didn't the 1st time I installed it and got a code. Tried again and no problems. Great support too.

This works great. No codes and gets rid of that annoying skip shift.

Installed on a 2015 Corvette... After I plugged it in the engine threw a code indicating that it had detected that it could not detect the CAGS solenoid. When I went to verify the installation (verify the connectors were secure) the plug connecting to the solenoid had an exposed wire (not weatherproof) so I tossed it in the trash. (It was plugged into the correct connector since the CAGS was disabled). Not worth exchanging given the shipping in Canada and cost of the part.
