Which wood filler do i use on plain wood from a lumber yard if i am painting oil base leather brown paint?

The best type of wood filler to use would be the ProBond Wood filler since it is stainable.

Has anyone used this on natural bamboo trim?

I never have but it may work if you can find a color match.

If you want to sand it, probably not. Care for a smooth finish w/o sanding would be needed. Resetting pins into this would be difficult and may simply chip it away. Even still, I've never used it as such and can't predict the outcome. Worth a try as opposed to tossing out the cord board.

Can this be used on wood laminate?

It will fill the area but probably not match well. Also if this is a floor laminate this filler is soft and would be damaged easily.
