A Chemo Patient's Rescue-edit
Over too many months I tried everything and anything without being sedated so I could be nourished, but also feel so! A daughter found this product in with the Gatorade and brought it to me. Thank goodness!Energy is a critical nutritional issue, because of aggressive chemotherapy, which led to Adrenal Insufficiency. Between this and Quinoa, I've been able to maintain good blood counts regardless of how I feel, but when I notice a "dip" I head for Core Power. The company just answered my question about Amazon carrying this, which is great news, BUT it costs more than my local supermarket, and I can't use my coupons ( or may I?). And, with regular deliveries the stress that occurs when my supermarket is out of stock (I haven't dared try other flavors fearing being sick"), is avoided. To update my dedication to this product, Amazon makes it very hard to order the Lite on Subscribe and Save. Secondly, the price is way over that of the major grocery chains, now. I get it on sale, 2 for $5.00, but must admit a noticeable difference in taste the past few months. Frankly, one can make it easily enough in a home blender, using low-fat milk, adding 1/3 C non-instant powered milk, and flavoring - Vanilla extract is important in the taste sector. A few drops of chocolate syrup, etc rounds out the formula, and certainly adding frozen banana for thickening or berries for more taste and nutrition. At times, this is has been all that I can get down and keep down. This is an edit. I see no reason whatsoever that this product costs more with Amazon than in a national and/or local (statewide) grocery chain, especially since its highly recommended for cancer patients. It is on sale every time I've bought it locally for 2 for $5.00 (Market Street, HEB, United, Albertson's, etc). It can be home-made by simply taking a cup of non-instant powdered milk, adding 1/2 C. of milk, and flavoring -- adding Flax Oil, egg whites, etc. will boost the protein content, as well - and frozen fruit in a blender which provides for the thickening. So go to it, friends. Make your own "core power."

PLEASE keep this product! For people allergic to/intolerant of artificial sweeteners, this is GOLD!
As my title states, for those of us who are allergic to/intolerant of artificial sweeteners, this is absolutely GOLD as a product!People w/ Fructose intolerance (as I am) cannot have artificial sweeteners because our bodies cannot process them - they are treated in the body just like fructose is, the body literally cannot tell the difference.Monkfruit allergies are a real thing, too...Even "natural" products like Stevia, Erythritol, & the "just like sugar because it's from sugar" Splenda (sucralose) can be treated by the body of someone who is Fructose Intolerant, just the same way Fructose is. And let me tell you, it ain't fun. There is NONE OF THAT in this product - please, please, please keep making this formula!Sometimes having real sugar in a product is a NECESSITY!It is pretty much impossible to find protein powders - never mind actual shakes/drinks - that don't contain all or any of the sweeteners that are poison to some of us.There IS a market for this formula w/ real sugar, I promise! As a Health Coach, I could go on in 10 different ways about additives, artificial sweeteners, etc. Even about real sugar - all things in moderation. As someone w/ autoimmune conditions, allergies & intolerances, it's rare to find a product like this that also tastes great. This is a fabulous product across the board, & I have recommended it to others in the same situation w/ similar issues.

Good buy
I'm just getting into weight lifting again, and a major problem I was having the last time I did it consistently was that my recovery times seemed extremely slow. I could be sore for three or more days after a workout. So this time I thought I would try a protein drink, and I wanted something pre-mixed to make it as easy as possible. I'll let almost anything turn into an obstacle to keep me from working out and I'm sure others can relate. Having these sitting in the fridge has actually been a great reminder to exercise.I haven't tried other brands, but I heard great things about Core Power drinks and I have to agree with the consensus. These taste good, without a weird aftertaste or much chalky residue. They seem to have helped my recovery times quite a bit as well, as I've been able to work out more frequently than in past experience.Side note, I don't know why people are freaking out about artificial sweeteners in other reviews. The four main ingredients in the pack I bought are milk, cane sugar, honey, and cocoa, with some enzymes and vitamins at "less than 1%".Anyway, I'm probably going to be using these for a long time to come and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a convenient and healthy post-workout drink.
