⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Dangerous Product | Fire Hazard
This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon. I strongly warn everyone to stay away from this battery. Initially, after installing it in my laptop, it worked fine. However, after just 2–3 weeks of normal usage, a very dangerous incident occurred. One day while my laptop was charging, smoke suddenly started coming out from the battery area. Thankfully, I noticed it in time and immediately unplugged the charger. When I removed the battery (it is removable), it was extremely hot, and due to the excessive heat, it melted part of the battery casing and even damaged my laptop’s plastic body. This could have easily caused a fire or serious injury. Unfortunately, the Amazon return window had already closed. I contacted Amazon customer care, and they advised me to contact Dell since the product supposedly has a one-year warranty. I emailed and called Dell multiple times. After checking the service tag printed on the battery, Dell confirmed that this battery does NOT match their genuine product records and refused any repair or replacement. I then went back to Amazon. Over the next two months, I shared every piece of evidence they asked for—product photos, serial number images, Dell’s email denial, everything. After all this struggle, Amazon simply replied that I need to contact Dell again, sending me back to the same dead end. I have called Dell 5–6 times, and every time they raise a ticket, ask for photos, and then do nothing. No one takes responsibility. The seller is never contacted, and the customer is left helpless despite clear proof of a dangerous, faulty product. This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. This battery is a serious safety risk due to excessive overheating and potential fire hazard. ⚠️ DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY. It can overheat, melt, and possibly catch fire. Your laptop—and your safety—are not worth the risk.

Genuine LGC Battery – Good Performance, Slightly Lower Capacity Than Expected
I bought this battery as a replacement for my Dell Inspiron 3521, and so far it's been working well. The system recognizes it as "DELL 49VTP27J", and the manufacturer is LGC (LG Chem), which is a known OEM supplier for Dell, so that’s reassuring. Performance: Full charge capacity is 48,840 mWh, exactly as shown in the battery report. It holds charge well and performs much better than my old degraded battery (~42,000 mWh). No issues with compatibility — plug and play, works seamlessly with Windows. Note: While it's advertised as a 65 Wh battery, the actual full charge capacity is 48.84 Wh. That’s a bit misleading if you're expecting the full 65 Wh performance. No visible branding on the outside, but the system internally identifies it correctly as a Dell-compatible unit. Pros: Likely OEM-quality (manufactured by LGC) Works reliably Good improvement over my previous battery Cons: Lower actual capacity than advertised No clear mention of capacity rating on the physical battery Verdict: Overall, I’m satisfied with the battery for general daily use. Just keep in mind that while it’s reliable and likely OEM, it doesn't deliver the full 65 Wh as claimed — more like ~49 Wh. Still, a solid and affordable upgrade for older laptops.

Awesome packaging in time of covid-19
1) Package looks like genuine. Imported from china was mentioned on box. There was no "Dell" box. 2) Takes 2.5 hours to charge to 98%. 3) Usage around 3-3.5 hours only. 4) Buy only if your battery is damaged. I have doubt over its authenticity so please go to a "authorized" dell shop to buy battery even if its Rs500 more.
