I really like this cable so far, in my opinion for the cost to gain ratio this is a winner. The bass end is fairly "large", but it has a transparency so that it's not overpowering and woolly, likewise the high end is present without being harsh. I really like the input jacks, as they're very form fitting to my amp and guitar, likewise I feel this cable is less noisy than the fender cable I had been using previously. As for price compared to other brands, I had tried mogami gold & platinum, as well as live wire elite before hand. I like the live wire, but didn't like the rigidness of the cable. The mogami flat out didn't impress me. The planet waves seems to sound just as good if not better than both cables with the live wire coming in on it's heels. However, I don't really support super expensive cables, as I feel like your not getting what you pay for. All in all the american stage is a great, transparent sounding cable that won't be mistaken for sounding weak and muddy. The bass comes across beautifully clean, not quite as stout as the live wire elite, but more transparent. The high end and mid-range is noticeably more clear, and better clean in my opinion. Price played a big part in what I was comfortable spending on cables, and I think this met the criteria I was looking for.

In an over saturated world full of numerous music gear companies, welcome to planet waves! It’s crazy trying to find a cable to trust with sooooo many different companies making knock off cables and cords. I’ve had two American stage cable for about three Years now and they are incredibly faithful. The end connecter makes a clean fit and solid connection with my amp and pedals. I’ve gone through several other brands and series, but I’m a huge fan of the Planet Waves American stage. They are super sturdy and well made. I run a 30ft from my amp to my pedal board, and the clarity it awesome. Cables are a huge part of your tone, so don’t settle for the cheap knock offs. I’m not crazy about the cheaper Planet waves cables, but this is my go to series.

I think these cables are fantastic! I've used high end cables such as Mogami and Monster and I will say those high end cables do hold your tone really really well, but these Planet Waves American Stage cables also are great for keeping your tone. They probably don't do quite as good as something like a Mogami gold cable, but I also don't think the tiny difference in tone (generally imperceptible to the average person) is worth the extra $40 per cable. With that in mind, I bought super cheap cables a couple years ago, they were something like $7 each for 20ft cables. Well now they suck, my tone isn't as good, they constantly cut in and out, I get buzzing and electrical interference, it's a mess. That being said, I do think the difference in price between super cheap cables and something like these Planet Waves cables IS worth the money. I'll never go back to really cheap cables again.

I bought this cable so I could tune my guitar and it works great. It's nice and long and the cord is thick and not to flimsy. I needed another cable to tune my guitar since I only had one and I wanted to make sure I picked out the right one with a high ranking in positive feed back and this one I found and I can see why. I do recommend this item to others, but only they can determine if it's worth their purchase or not. I love it !

Only time will tell whether or not this cable is good or bad. However, my initial impression is that this is a good quality product. The jacks seem like they were well designed, with connections that appear to be sufficiently robust so as to avoid the stresses that invariably cause most standard patch cables to wear out and fail.

For my money, the best guitar cable on the market. Very snug connection. Screw type metal shell. Quiet. Gold plated positive tip. You may find a better cable if your willing to spend a lot more, but I'm not sure where the improvement might be. I own three of these and have never had a problem with any of them.

D'Addario makes awesome guitar strings and I am really enjoying their Made in the USA Instrument cables. Fair price with very little difference from higher priced brand names.

Really like this cable. It's got a vintage feel and look to it and it's quite solidly constructed. The end connectors are solid metal and have a nice heft to them. I also agree with the specially designed rounded plug ends that allow it to fit snugly into all guitars as I have some guitars that feel like the jack is shallow. This cable fits very well. The cable itself also has a nice vintage feel to it. The sheath is smooth and has a more leather feel and not a rubbery, grippy, tangling feeling like most new cables. I can easily wind and unwind this cable. it's flexible but not loosey goosey like some cables I own. I can tell that I will be able to run this thing over several times with the stupid wheels of my Aeron Chair and not fear for a broken cable. It should server me until I'm dead. I like that.

Pas grand chose à dire : solide, qualitatif, prises neutrik au top et un son parfait (rien à voir avec d'autres câbles, pourtant de "qualité" soit-disant... Je ne jure que par ceux-là, inutile d'aller chez Monster câble qui est 3x plus cher !

Fantastic instrument cable. The connectors are superb and seem to be designed and made a lot better than the regular TRS style connectors found on other cables. Highly recommended!

I have stuck by D'Addario/Planet Waves cables for some time now, as they've never let me down and this 10ft one hasn't either. I have a 20ft version of this cable too, which is great but a little too long for home use, so I decided to go for the shorter option. It's the same series and exactly the same, barring the length of course. The sound quality is clear, great with no problems. The cable is sturdy as are both plugs on either end. A simple, but often overlooked guitar product, although I'd tend to agree these are a little on the expensive side, I feel you have to pay a little extra to get true quality with guitar cables and it's totally worth it, a bit like having good tires on a car - a bit of a boring purchase, but fundamental, essential and in many ways, can make the biggest difference.
