So far so good. Fish seem to love the new hiding spot this cave created. The colors are nice and the product seems to be made of good quality material. I had a smaller cave like hide that kept losing paint everytime I cleaned the tank. I'm hoping this one will not have the same problem. Overall I feel it was a good buy. Time will tell if it last but the fish really love going in and out of the different holes so that alone makes me happy. The dimensions were accurate. I have about a 5to7 gallon tank. Not sure since it was given to me but it's not very big and this fit just right. Takes up space in my small tank but the kids and I think it makes the tank look a lot more colorful and fun for the fish. If the paint starts to chip off I'll update the review, but for now I am very pleased with the product I received.

Within less than 24 hours of placing this in my tank my fish is dead. I made sure to check for sharp edges and thoroughly clean this before placing it in my tank as well. Lesson learned on ordering aquarium decorations online.

Betta loves his new home! And there are no plastic plants on it - I love that it's all resin so it won't tear his delicate fins like the plastic plants do. ☆☆☆☆

I have had my fish for a little over a year. Clean his tank once a week. Ordered this product, when it came in I soaked it in a bowl of water for a day and then I did the cleaning and added this Betta Cave. Loved the look until two days later the water was so cloudy I could barely see my Betta. I emptied over half of the water out of the tank and refilled with fresh Betta treated water and the next day it was just as bad. My fish stopped eating and I have NEVER had a problem with him eating. I removed him from the tank, rinsed everything thoroughly (the tank, the stones, etc) and threw the Betta Cave away I was so upset and put him back in his tank. His fins were falling apart before my eyes. This morning I woke up and he was floating in his tank. THIS PRODUCT POISONED AND KILLED MY FISH!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!!

I LOVED this decoration at first sight. It perfectly fit in with my betta fish tank, and I was excited for my new male butterfly betta, Galileo, to make use of the structure. Every friend and family member who saw it in the tank complimented how beautiful it was! Unfortunately, in my experience, it is not betta friendly.When I first got Galileo, he was young and tiny (about.5 inches long total!). This decoration had sharp, plastic interior pieces that I tried (and apparently, failed) to fix with sandpaper, but it didn't seem to bother him. He swam in it happily, regularly. Unfortunately, as Galileo grew, his lovely tail began tearing and he started avoiding the little shelter he once loved. He wasn't doing it himself (his tank is next to my desk, so I could see if he was biting it himself) and everything else in his tank is soft, so there was only one explanation- the sharp, little structure. Once I removed the little cave, he started going into that corner of the tank again and seemed significantly more relaxed. His tail has fully healed, with no tears. Since then I have bought some (less sharp) decorations, which he happily swims through. It is clear that this beautiful but sharp decoration is what he disliked.TLDR: If your fish are very small or do not have long, fragile tails, I may recommend this beautiful decoration, but betta owners, beware- unless you completely file down every single interior section, it will be too sharp for your betta.

I'm very happy with this ornament! The colors really brighten up after a good soak, I was extra cautious and let it soak overnight rather than the suggested 15-30 mins. There was a slight film on the water in the morning, so I rinsed again and sponge cleaned to be safe. No issues at all the whole time while my betta has been in with the ornament, and it's been a about a week! I HIGHLY recommend sanding down the holes which your fish can swim through, as those had some sharp pieces that could catch find and rip them. It took me about 5 mins to sand it down, they weren't crazy bad.

My fish love this, maybe too much. They are constantly hiding in it. It did have sharp edges so we sanded down completely before washing it many times. Has been in tank for 3 weeks now, no dead fish, no cloudy water, looks very nice. Have in a five gallon tank and fits nicely. Good price. Would recommend but need to prep first.

This looks nice and I think my fish seems to like it my problem is, since I first put it in the tank the water has gotten extremely cloudy with a film on the top. I have taken it out, cleaned the entire tank and scrubbed the rock three times now in a week. There seems to be some kind of chemical or something that is coming off this rock and now I’m going to have to throw it away. What a waste of $15.
