Firebird GANZO F759M Pocket Folding Knife 440C Stainless Steel Blade Nylon Glass Fiber Anti-Slip Handle with Clip Fishing Camping EDC Knife (Orange)

I purchased this knife first, then I received a Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark 2 (it's basically the same knife, they even feel the same). This one, however, is better and less expensive. Opens rather smoothly whereas the Byrd is stiff to open or close. It feels comfortable in the hand, you can open it easily with just one hand. It came sharp enough out of the package and with just a bit of work, it gets shaving sharp. It's a GRN or FRN handle which makes it extremely lightweight and resistant. The pocket clip has 4 total positions and as with the Byrd, it is not a deep pocket carry, about 1/4" of the knife sticks out of your pocket, I don't care with this one so it doesn't really matter. The main difference between this and the Meadowlark 2 is the blade steel, this one being 440C and the Meadowlark being 8CR13MOV. Basically very similar if not the same HRC and qualities. The other difference is the price, this one goes for about $17 and the Meadowlark goes for around $32. To me, this one is much, much better.

Big fan. sharp as an in-laws tongue, solid for self defense and a good starter knife for next gen

Considering the price this knife still gets 4 stars, but I'm pretty disappointed in the poor tolerancing on the scales. The holes for the pocket clip on mine are misaligned by the blade pivot, so it's impossible to carry the knife tip-down. Other than that, it's great. The 440C blade is a very pleasant surprise at this price point, and the lockback mechanism feels very solid.

Amazing knife for the price

This is my 3rd Ganzo and 2nd Firebird. They are great knifes very sharp and keep an edge. I have several Spiderco knifes and this fits right in as a every day carry

I liked this knife so much that I bought 3 more. I figured at this price point I'd be okay if one or two broke during everyday use. I'm still using the original, everyday, without babying it, for almost a year. The other 3........still in the boxes. Waiting they're turn.

I would prefer orange to be really orange but this is my favorite ganzo. I bought a Blue one to see if they were consistent good and sharp. Scales are plenty grippy. Both of mine came razor sharp out the box. They shave great. They center up true when closed, no wiggle at the pivot. Lockup is tight. The edge on the Apex is even. For 15 bucks for EDC it hard to beat this knife. I put it on the strop every 2 or 3 days and haven't had to put on on the stones yet. Would it be a good knife for Bushcraft, not hardly but daily use it has become the one I reach for and I carry 4, some are job specific but if its not for a specific job I grab the lil ganzo. I've read some say they are hard to open one handed. They obviously never grabbed the blade an flick the handle down.

Great pocket knife. I have 3 of these now, 2 with half serrated blade and one regular blade. Lightweight, and I prefer the orange body so it’s a bit easier to find quickly, especially when hiking.

Bought this on an impulse after a positive review. It has not disappointed me so far.

Nóż spełnia oczekiwania, zgodny z opisem. Solidnie wykonany. Odpowiednio ostry. Ekspresowa dostawa.
