First let me say I LOVE THIS RUG! Based on some of the reviews I was expecting this to be too thin and impossible to get the wrinkles out, but that wasn't the case at all!!!!! It arrived tightly rolled and when I spread it out it was definitely creased, but tightly re-rolling it the opposite way for about an hour fixed it entirely and it laid flat. You may need to leave it re-rolled the other way for longer (some places suggest 24 hours) but mine didn't take long at all to even out.It's thin in the sense that it's not 'substantial' if that makes any sense, but I wouldn't call this rug 'thin'. It keeps its shape and doesn't bunch or move around, but I have this on carpet. The underside is scratchy and would probably slip on a tile/wood floor without a gripper. SUPER easy to vacuum. I tested both a regular vacuum with the brush and my manual push vacuum and both worked very well. It's also just really beautiful. The picture shows the white parts as being brighter than they actually are. They're more a light grey than white and it is a slightly more neutral to cool toned grey than warm, which is exactly what I wanted. Looks like it would hold up well.My ONLY complain about this rug is that it smells SO much when you first unroll it. Seriously, like gasoline. Firstly, understand that this is usually a result of the latex glue a lot of companies use to tack on the back of the rug. Latex is rubber, rubber smells horrific after manufacturing. Just a fact of life. It's not necessarily harmful, just a horrible smell. But after the first 24 hours it dissipated a lot in a ventilated room. After 72 hours I can barely smell it anymore. So if you're very very sensitive to smells I'd recommend letting it air out somewhere well ventilated where you won't be instead of immediately hating it. Most affordable rugs will use this kind of glue so I'd be surprised if any of them smelled fine at first.Anyway, I would 100% recommend this if you're looking for an affordable area rug that's easy to clean and are patient enough to get the creases/smell out. If you're the type of person who needs instant gratification maybe this isn't for you.

I absolutely love this rug. I have it in my office space and it makes the room look so elegant. The rug is on the thinner side so if you’re looking for a plush rug, this is not it. It did have the new carpet smell which is to be expected but I just sprinkled it with baking soda and within hours it was gone. I also had to lay weights on the edges to flatten it a bit but after a couple of days that was fine as well.

I am not a rug person. I have 5 dogs, three of which are Siberian Husky hybrids. They shed. Rugs have not been a part of my life for years. After refinishing my kitchen floor, I needed something to protect my floor from dog nails. So, a rug it had to be. I wanted a unique design that was vibrant, plus it needed to be well made without it being too expensive. I was also worried about a rug having creases and waves from being rolled for delivery. After MUCH online shopping for rugs, I ultimately chose this nuLOOM area rug that honestly made me a very happy person. It is vibrant, well made, and very INEXPENSIVE! Even more, it isn't all wavy, nor did it have creases. It literally went flat almost immediately. The photos above were taken about an hour after I laid down the rug. I love it!!! It is perfect for my decor and our lifestyle. This was a great buy!

It's even better in person! It's beautiful, high quality and matches my decor. It didn't smell at all when I opened it. The rug had a few ridges but they smoothed out in 48 hours by placing heavy objects on. It vacuums and spot cleans easily-- because I have 2 cats, I've tested both of these features pretty soon after buying the rug!

Well, I was so unimpressed by this rug that I felt I had to take the time to share my opinion of it. It is far thinner than I ever imagined. It came tightly rolled up, of course, and when I spread it out on the floor it had ripples in it because it is so thin. A thicker rug would not have those wrinkles. It is so thin that I don't know that it will ever flatten out by just leaving it on the floor with nothing to press down on it. The various tones of gray, black and white are muted and it does have the appearance of a very modern and stylish rug, but the thinness of it ruined it for me and I will probably just give the thing away, as I have other thicker and more colorful rugs that would look better, I think. I also have to add that the thing reeked. I had to hang it outside over a balcony railing in the sun most of a morning and even that didn't completely rid the thing of its harsh chemical oder. So would I buy this again? NO.
