My first thought was, oh this is going to be too small. Well it isn’t. It’s the perfect size. Although it’s very sturdy it isn’t heavy. The rake does a good job and it seems like both the rake and the scoop are coated with something that makes the cleanup very easy. I love the fact that you can attach the rake to the scoop.

It does its job. We have 4 dogs, 3 of them under 15 lbs. and 1 blue heeler who weighs about 50 lbs.The scooper works well for our needs. We try to pick up about twice a week and it saves our backs because we don't have to bend over as much. We use it in conjunction with an empty, plastic kitty litter bucket that we line with a plastic trash bag.Mind you, it is not a super, duper, heavy duty thing. It is made of aluminum, not steel. So if you think about it; if it were made of steel, it would be way to heavy and a pain to carry around the yard.We like it and are glad we bought it.

The handle sections screw together. Unfortunately they come loose easily and you constantly have to re-tighten them. We are going back to the original, old school one with the solid wood handle.Edit - I received an email from the company's customer service manager, offering me a $30 Amazon gift card if I would remove my review. Sometimes I’ll invite friends’ dogs come over to my backyard and there are lots of dog poops. It’s hard and gross to pick up all of them. Thanks to this scooper, my life is much easier. It takes only a few mins to cleanup my backyard.

I have a few herniated discs in my back which prevents me from bending over. This tool is fantastic and does not cause my back any pain. I have a large Newfoundland dog, so her poops are huge. The size of the tray is very large and I can get several poops in there before I dump it in a plastic bucket that I line with a trash bag. The rake is amazing as again it is large enough to get a whole poop and allows me to dig down into the grass to get it all up. Since both the rake and the tray have non-stick coating, everything slides easily off and doesn't get stuck. I highly recommend this to anyone who has back problems or just wants an easier way to clean up.

Seems ridiculous to write a review on a poop scooper but this set is really nice. Love the extendable, extra long, metal handles. Great for taller people like us and for the Florida humidity where everything wooden just rots. Has nice built in holes for hanging.

I had a claw pooper scooper and if anyone else has made the switch, you know the ease that having this rake and scooper gives you! If you’re still using a claw, get this!! It was so worth it!! In fact, the dogs must even like it because I had stopped to say something to my mom when she was in my yard, and her dog walked up to me, as I had a hand on the rake and scooper, and pooped about a foot away!! If that’s not a doggy endorsement, I don’t know what it!!

I had a different scooper. This works great. Our trash pickup is in the afternoon. So trash day, in the morning, I go around the yard and pick it all up. I have two dogs. It takes about 10 minutes on average. The yard is clean and the dogs are happy!
