Rocky Mountain 100% Boar Bristle Beard Brush: Pffft... there's no other brush for me now.
TL;DR at the end. This brush is stupid good. First off, aside from the benefits to your beard and skin from brushing and the benefits of boar hair over other hairs (not really gonna get into that as that stuff is covered at great length elsewhere and you should know this, bearded person!), the brush is just designed really well and has great packaging/a great look. The Brush:The brush itself is really sturdy and well made. The grip/handle(is that what you call it?) is a nice solid chunk of wood with a nice look and finish. The bristles are tightly packed (this is the one thing I might change about the brush as I feel that as my beard gets longer and thicker I might need something with a little breathing room between the bristles) so it really gets a hold of your hairs and moves them along in the direction you're brushing. It's not so tight that it snags your hairs though so don't worry. The contour. Oh my! I looove the contour of the bristles that they put on this thing. It's just absolute heaven to brush with this onyx badboy as it basically hugs your face, embracing your beard (as well any beard should be!) as you groom your beautiful jaw mane. I think I might over brush a little much just because it's that comfortable and soothing to brush with this brush that I get lost in it. Almost hypnotized. A lot of other brushes are just the flat boring military style brush and they suck. Sure, they get the job done but it's like comparing a 5 minute truck stop handy to a talented hummer. If you can have the one, you're NOT choosing the other. The Packaging:Ok, so one thing I'll give the beard care product community in general is... they know their audience. The know manly. They know what's visually appealing to men and they milk it with impressive splendor. Except for a lot of the brushes out there. One of the most popular sellers on here is that boring ass military style one I mentioned in the previous paragraph and I see a lot of other plain humdrum brushes. While I do see SOME that have decided to put some thought into their design(oh, and the combs... ), something about the rocky mountain look just really sticks out and appeals to me.The brush itself is sleek, contoured(bristles), smooth with a nice woodgrain finish and a prominant logo which, normally I say "Ick!" but I dig their logo. It's a nice design. By itself the brush is a nice enough thing to see on your counter but they went the extra mile with some very nice packaging. The Box:It's sturdy... like, nice and sturdy. It's cardboard but it's quality and will serve as a nice display/storage box that you can leave out on your counter with the brush. Inside the box is a foam padded rectangle with a smooth felt side for you to place the brush on bristle side down on which frankly was unnecessary but it's a testament, imo, to how much thought they put into their product from design to packaging and I love them for it. I understand the importance of function over form but dammit, I want both!!Well, I got it.Overall TL;DR: It's an awesome brush that looks beautiful and functions even better. The contoured bristles are awesome and really hug your face in a way other brushes don't and actually let you brush more of your beard at once in single strokes. The look and packaging are above and beyond so much that it's pretty much like you get a free display case and counter top decoration with your order.Don't be foolish and get another brush when clearly, this is your only option.

Day One: Love It
Received my brush today. Delightfully packaged with care, looks great and has a nice feel for quality on the first impression just unboxing.Size/Shape: Grade ABrush is small, as expected, brush sits in hand and feels good, I have a small to average sized hands so people with very large hands may find the brush to feel a little small, but as this is designed for beards a big brush would be less funcitonal. You can tell the size and shape was well thought out.Funciton: Grade ABristles are short firm but still soft enough to be comfortable. Feels great going through my beard. I have a fairly gnarly beard and I was surprised by the smoothness the brush gave. I also gave this brush a spin brushing my 11-year old daughter's long think tangled mess of hair. The brush was not as effective at de-tangling as a larger brush, for her huge mane of hair, but that's outside the target use —but IT DID WORK. Where the brush "literally" shined was in the finish. After de-tangled the brush pulled through her hair and gave it a lovely shine and smoothness. It really did a great job of evening out the natural oils in her hair.Construction: Grade ASeems great, natural feel, natural components. The wood handle is light but feels of good quality. Nice wood grain subtly seen through deep dark stain. The logo script and accents look nice and have a nice graphic quality that I find pleasing.Would recommend.

Awesome brush! Perfect!
Oh no! The lettering smeared off! Wow, really? This brush is awesome! It works great and is nice and stiff so it really gets through the beard and exfoliates the skin. Just what I needed. It is a perfect beard brush, so why does anyone care about the white letters smearing after months and months of use? Does white lettering effect how it performs? Absolutely not. It’s a great brush and very well made. It’ll last me many many years and then I’ll buy the exact same brush again. It is very high quality. And I agree with other reviewers, when it looks a little worn, it make it look cooler! Ive got to say thanks for an awesome product, well done. I will be a long time customer.

Good quality brush
Honestly, I kind of want to give the brush a 4.5. I've never owned a beard brush before but having gone "all in" this No Shave November and having bought the beard oil and beard shampoo I figured why not. It's a good brush. At first I found it a bit too coarse for my skin but after using it for a few days my skin took a liking to the brushing. I actually brush it more than I probably need to bc I like how it feels. It spreads the beard oil well and the shape of the brush is outstanding. The brush does have a slight smell to it but it's akin to the smell of a new pair of shoes. It's not bad (in my opinion) and I don't notice it anymore (it's been a week). The only knock on the brush so far is the color and packaging. I know many people have commented on how "sharp" the color is and how the graphics on the brush are great. My personal opinion is that it's too much. I like the traditional brown brushes with small graphics to indicate it's maker. Understated but classy if you will. The graphics (on the box and brush) are a bit too "old spice, MMA, axe body spray" for me. That's just a personal preference though and it doesn't really deter from the quality and my enjoyment of the brush. Oh, the one other con is that it's made in China. Again, another personal preference as I prefer to buy American when possible. Other than that, it's a good brush and I recommend.
