Ear Hooks and Covers Accessories Compatible with Apple AirPods - EarPods for Headphones, Earphones, Earbuds (White 2 Pairs)

I bought some Air Pods Pros a few weeks ago. They work great, but the included ear tips do not fit my ears well. So I was looking for a solution to help them stay in. I had a previous generation Air Pods and bought some ear tips with fins/hooks and they worked to great effect. Because the Pros are so new, there are very few solutions on the market to help me with this problem. I came across this product and it SPECIFIALLY says in the description (and in the pictures) that it works on Air Pods Pro. After receiving it, I found that there were a few things wrong: 1) It would seem that this product was NOT made for the Pro version of the Airpods at all. They were very difficult to get on as the silicone was too tight. I felt like I was going to split them because of how hard they were to get on. 2) The advertisement said that it does not cover the sensors. There are at least two sensors on each Airpod Pro earpiece. After struggling to get the Ear Hooks onto the unit and put into my ears, the music wouuldn't play. I came to find out that the Ear Hooks covered one of the sensors and they did not recognize that they were in my ears. Even after much manuvering, it is inevitable that this product covers the sensors. Long story short: These were not made for Air Pods Pros. They are too tight and do not fit well. They cover the sensors and the Air Pods Pros do not recognize that they are in your ears and music will not play. I will be returning them.

So, like many other reviews mention, out of the box they do not really work well. First, give the seller some credit in that they disclose fully that the added piece covers the bottom sensor of the Airpod Pros. They mention some loss of functionality, but it turns out the functionality loss is pretty complete really. Not only do they not pause when removed, they do not autopair on insertion either. And at least for me, the haptic "button stopped working also. All of that made them pretty useless. BUT, all I did is take a pair of scissors and cut a very small slice out of the bottom of them. Then reinstalled and manipulated the hole I had created over the sensor. Problem solved. All functionality was intact. In the photo, the one on the left has my small cut in the bottom and the one on the right is as shipped. As to fit, they solved the problem for me. I tuck that flange into my upper ear and now they feel very solid and dependable. Before they seemed to work loose about every 10-15 minutes and I had to tuck them in again. Maybe my ears are just a little different, but I could not get any size to stay in without issues. So now I feel like I have the best of all worlds.

2 stars for false advertising - 1 extra star (originally would have been 1 star) only because if you stretch the ear hook past the black sensor, the AirPods pro will work. Warning: these are not designed for the Pro.

They fit the ear pods ok but don't stay in place, fall out easily. You have to constantly readjust to prevent loss.

Generic universal adapters. The quality of these are fine but they do not fit AirPod Pros in a way that you will want for a $250 set of headphones. They are painstaking to put on, cover up sensors on the earbuds themselves, And will definitely not fit into a charging case as the picture insinuates. These are the exact same product for any type of earbuds and the package they come on actually shows a pair of wired ear buds.

They work well, the material is really sticky so hard to move around once on the ear bud...I had the originals and lost one so this is a replacement...

Does not fit AirPods Pro - no matter how hard you try.
