The age on this is 14 I'm looking for a train set for my 6 year old grandson. Is this really to advanced?

My 7 year old son needed help setting up first time and now can do alone. It’s definitely very easy to use. 14 seems too old for this in my opinion

Train cars vary in length, largest car is 20cm and smallest is 13cm long, and all about 1.5" wide. Hope this helps.
