Wow! A simple concept that really works!
I didn’t believe it at first, but this simple idea really works. Our outdoor cat was bringing home birds constantly, and it looked like a bird graveyard with half eaten birds. It was breaking my heart as I love to feed the birds. We tried other deterrents like bells and those bright colored fabric ruffs, but they didn’t do the trick. At first, I thought our cat would be so uncomfortable in the CatBib. But after giving it a go, our cat has adjusted quite well after a few days. He now looks forward to it as it means a trip outdoors and doesn’t seem to mind it a bit. He can run, jump, play, eat, sleep without a problem. We take it off of him in the evening (while indoors) and put it on just before going outside in the morning. Not a single bird kill so far… keeping our fingers crossed. One thing to note; the bib did seem to fall off easily with our original breakaway collar, so we ended up putting our name and number on the back of the CatBib in black sharpie. This has worked to get it returned from neighbors. Now, we’ve resorted to the elastic collar recommended by the manufacture which seems to be the best option. This make it so the bib doesn’t fall off easily but is still safe for the cat. Also, the bib does get pretty dirty, but is easy to clean with some warm water and soap.If you have this problem with your cat catching birds or other critters, please give the CatBib a try. The birds will thank you. Thank you for making a great product!

Cat caught a quail within 5 minutes of putting this on. Did not stop or slow him down in the least. Just looks dumb

It’s a must buy for bird killers
Amazing product!! If you have a cat that kills animals and birds, Buy This It Works. It’s looks kinda silly and it took a day for my cat to get use to. But my cat has gone from killing 2-3 small animals/birds a day to 0 killed each day. It’s a simple product that works perfectly. And now I can feed my birds again without my cat eating them.

Using two
Ordered a regular sized one for our year old female who was bringing in live ground squirrels and maimed birds. Worked for a couple of days but then she must have learned how to work around it so we ordered the larger size. Again it worked but briefly so that cat was again sentenced to the house. Then I put both on her collar but she seemed to then go between them and the slaughter resumed. Finally I have used a safety pin to overlap the two bibs into one super bib and so far so good. She still doesn't seem to mind much. Not real impressed with the ground squirrels.

This bib completely stopped bird killings
A neighbor abandoned a kitty when they moved, so shes been in our yard (and inside at night) for a year. This summer she developed a habit of killing birds and was killing almost 2 a week! We love our feathered friends so I looked into this Cat Bib and man let me tell you: she's had this bib for over a month and 0 bird killings!!! It prevents her from grabbing the birds with her front paws. Its also soft and lightweight, and doesn't get in the way of her walking, eating, drinking or cleaning herself. We take it off at night. It's on a breakaway collar so she can get free in case it got stuck on something. It's easy to clean too, I've washed it by hand every 10 days or so if she gets it wet or dirty. This bib truly is amazing.

Worked so far!
Cat Bib / CatBibHe is now the biggest dork in the neighborhood. But I don't care. He hasn't brought a bird or bunny in through the pet door since we put it on him. It's been over a week.Since he's an inside/outside cat with free reign of the pet door, we leave it on him all the time. It hasn't interfered with his daily licking schedule, but it has stopped him from pouncing on innocent songbirds. He got used to it in about two minutes with no problem. Note that he is a super chill cat. He's also an older cat. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. This big velcros over his existing collar, and he's only gotten it off once and we think that's because he was jumping down out of the bunk bed and it got stuck. He is a huge cat and this normal size works great for him.

Impossible to put on and
Impossible to keep on. Cat keeps taking it off.

Surprising Acceptance by Our Cats!
Love cats; hate the way they kill birds and lizards, so we decided to try a "small" bib on our runty killing machine, and a large on our older-bigger deathtrap. We anticipated fighting, hissing, scratching, and bib-shredding, but both cats accepted them immediately. Bonus that the bibs not only save birds, but provide endless humor as we watch the cats attempt to maintain their dignity while walking around in what looks like a cross between a double-wide 70s necktie and a baby-bib! They're super easy to rinse and hang dry, which you'll need to do for sure because of... you know... what the cat dragged in (but at least it's just dirt, and not something that was formerly alive)!
