2006 Rav4 worked like a champ
It was easy enough to install. I just followed the YouTube videos out there. The one little tip that helped me was when installing the new rear shocks I did not premount the shock to the lower bracket so I could wiggle it as necessary to get the bolt though and nut on. This helped to line up and install the bolts in the upper bracket easier since there is so little working space to get your fingers up there.

Good Value: Restored my Ride
I have a 2010 RAV-4 with about 40K miles which I've owned since new. Recently I got fed up with the rough ride and when I looked at the original (USA manufactured Tokico's on my Canada-built RAV) I found that the driver's side was leaking pretty badly and hence I needed to replace the shocks. I'll be honest and say that I chose them as much for the reasonable price as based on past experience with Monroe Sensa-Trac struts. I've got about 2,000 miles on them and they have definitely quelled the rough ride and frequent bottoming out. I can't comment on longevity but I'd be happy to get at least what I got out of the OEM shocks given the price. That said, I think the longevity of the original shocks was 'shockingly' short. The ride is quite good - certainly far better than what it was at replacement and as good as when new. These shocks feel like they have about the same compression/rebound dampening as the originals so don't expect them to enhance handling above a comparable new OEM shock.

At best C ratings
My bad should have gone for KYB or better, now riding my 2017 RAV4, can feel slightest bump and uneven road makes a rocky ride even on the freeway!!!

Noise/squeaks after install contacted Monroe
The product was shipped relatively quickly and boxes didn't show any damage. I had to order replacements, one OEM shock that was leaky, but no noises. Read reviews, installation was about 2 hours and time consuming on a RAV4. After installing the new shock(s) had a noise/squeak afterwards. This SUV only has 38k miles on it. I sent two messages, requesting technical assistance and another complaint form and after four days no response, at all. Lesson learned, contacted Toyota and purchased OEM shocks for basically the same cost and free shipping! I always thought Monroe made premium replacement products and stood behind them. Not so much, anymore. I'm returning both of these Monroe shocks.
