Dyson Quick Release Extension Hose Vacuum Attachment, Gray

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased this in advance of my copper V11 Torque cordless Dyson arriving later this week. After comparing prices/packages through Dyson, online and in stores, purchasing the V11 Torque through amazon and this separately turned out to be the cheapest option. I also ordered a V7 Soft Roller Cleaner head which is compatible with the V11.This extends nicely and is very well made. It can bend and turn on itself and will allow for a lot of maneuverability, especially with the accessory attachments. It kind of wants to compact back up which makes putting it back together pretty easy but the memory doesn't feel like it's going to be fatiguing either.The very best part of this is that the top of the attachment is completely 360 rotating. So there will be no kinking or other issues no matter how you use it!UPDATE SINCE USING:This thing is absolutely necessary, should be included with every vacuum! It made vacuuming edges, the car, and dusting so easy and actually fun. I highly highly recommend getting this attachment, I use it as much as the floor heads!

It is 24" long when fully extracted. Looks good for indoor use. I also have a longer non-Dyson flexible hose that I use when cleaning the car. But for at home, this one works great. It retracts automatically if you don't hold it down.

I couldn't find anywhere in the description that this fit a V8 Absolute and was happy to find it does connect perfectly. To answer other peoples concerns it is OEM Dyson, same stickers on the box as my original purchased attachments when I bought my V8. It does not restrict air flow so has plenty of suction. The hose pulls out accordion style to 22". I bought this mainly for cleaning out my car but won't be able to test it out for that until spring.

I wanted a small hose attachment for my V11 so I can better vacuum out my car and this was just the solution. It allows me enough reach to get around the crevices and is made very well, so I am not worried that it cant handle some wear and tear. It definitely was a good pairing to any Dyson stick vac.

The suction power is greatly reduced and only works with the dust brush attachment. The attachments containing rolling brushes do not work at all. The suction is not strong enough to rotate brushes.

Love the ease of this vacuum! It is easy to use in my home and cars! It fits under most furniture. Goes from hard surfaces to area carpets with out a problem! It is easy to clean and dump the dirt. That is were I see the pet hair! The suction power is strong, I quit using my canister vacuum. It is amazing!

I bought this item specifically for cleaning my car. It extends the tools well, making it easier to position, and reach underneath and between the front seats, and for the price, it's a genuine dyson part, which is a plus.
