Our dog began having loose stool issues. Thus we began following the customary and very dependable regimen of taking him off his kibble and feeding him only cooked chicken breast, white rice and pumpkin recipe. We took a stool specimen to our Vet who prescribed the same antibiotic which had always worked well in the past. He also prescribed the PROVIABLE-FORTE Digestive Health Supplement. Our Boy responded well and so we very gradually began to transition him back onto his kibble. No sooner than we began he relapsed and we were back at square one. We repeated everything just as before per our Vet's recommendation. This included another round of antibiotics and PROVIABLE-FORTE, only to end up back at square one yet again during another attempt to transition him to his regular kibble. Finally our Vet prescribed Hills GI Biome. He explained that he wanted to see if it worked well for our Boy and also confirmed his suspicion. I must admit, the price was eye popping! However, our Boy is worth it! Great news! Not only did it work like a miracle drug, our Boy absolutely loves it! It looks and smells delicious. I think I could eat it if necessary! As difficult as it may be to believe, we began to see an improvement in our Boy's stool by the very next day! After several days his stool was actually better than it has ever been! Hills GI Biome has truly healed our Boy and we are very grateful. Thank you to Amazon who worked with our Veterinary Clinic to fill our Vets prescription. The food arrived quickly and painlessly. We even set up a subscription with Amazon to ensure we never run out and we also receive a discount for doing so. Of course Thank you to Hills Gi Biome. Job very well done!

My dachshund was constantly having diarrhea or constipation. I tried all kinds of expensive foods with no improvement. UNTIL HILLS BIOME. Now he goes regularly, and his BMs are well formed.. Thank Heavens!!! He loves the food and has no problems with it.

This company is so nice. Been ordering my dogs prescription food over a year on Amazon and they do a fantastic job getting it out to me. So grateful that this product serves my German Sheperd boy well. He has the typical GSD tummy that is super sensitive to human and dog foods.

I went from making my own fresh dog food to transitioning to baked dog food. I thought I was doing the right thing for my fur baby however, she would get bloody stools time to time. I was hesitant when her veterinarian prescribed Hills prescription diet gastrointestinal biome kibble but now I could not thank her enough. My dog is on this diet forever now. She never has stomach issues or bloody stools. Most importantly, she likes the kibble and she’s very picky. The size of the kibble is just perfect for my 18 pound off.

Helps my pup’s gut health so much! He seems to like the taste because it is gone almost as fast as I put it down. The kibble pieces are on the smaller size and they don’t smell great, but they work!

My doggie loves this food, however we wish it came in a differnt flavor other than chicken. Some doggies are allergic to chicken and we would like to have a alternative option like, lamb or rabbit. It does help my puppy's digestion and regularity. Also, the price could be alittle lower to help out dog parents though.

My dog developed diarrhea when I started packing up my house for construction and that was back in october. After trial and error of many other products which would work for a day or two This is the only thing that helps him. It works great it's just the price is out of control. Of course he is worth it, just saying

This is the only food that has worked to solve my Whippet’s diarrhea. It’s crazy expensive (she eats the kibble and canned mixed together) especially because she eats quite a bit, but worth it because the alternative is her not feeling well.

Las compramos por prescripción médica y sí cumplieron su objetivo. Le ayudaron muchísimo a nuestra perrita a bajar los niveles de triglicéridos y colesterol ocasionados por Addison. La verdad, no le gustó mucho el sabor, por lo que tuvimos que complementar con una latita; pero a mí otra perrita le fascinaron, siempre anda buscando esas croquetas.

Hills is great for sensitive stomachs. But I find the sizing confusing states 8lb but 2x 1.5 is mot 8lb. I agree with the some of these reviews.

Have tried many types of dry food for digestive issues but never really worked. So far so good with this.
