I’ve had this for a bit now and tested it in comparison to ones we use on the ambulance. It seems to be very accurate. While I have this to contribute to my own stock of medical supplies to better serve my community, people who need to monitor BG for their health would also benefit greatly from this. It comes with a journal for keeping track of trends. Lots of test strips and lancets as well

Nice glucose monitor. Easy to set up and use. Appears to be accurate and functions well. Date and time stamp feature easy to set up if you read the directions (which I don't like doing lol). My readings are usually 88-100 so a 98 reading seemed pretty accurate. Might have given it 5 stars but durability and longevity are unknown factors since I have only had it one day. Well worth buying if you want a nice inexpensive glucose monitor.

It did what it suppose to except the readings were not traditional? Otherwise efficient ..

As someone who has never had to check their blood sugar before, this is incredibly easy to use! I read the Quickstart guide and was able to check my blood sugar all in a few short minutes. I love the clear and easy to read screen. It came with plenty of lancets as well. I highly recommend this product!

I wish could give this a minus 5. I have for years had an Accu-Chek machine, but the strips, even with insurance, were expensive. I came on here and reviewed many machines and finally settled on this one. Thankfully, I had a few Accu-Chek strips left so I could check them against each other. I knew my Accu-Chek machine was correct. This machine measures anywhere from 50+ points higher usually. This morning, my Accu-Chek was showing 153 and I knew that was right. This machine showed 236! On immediate recheck, it showed 202! It is not consistent and now I'm out the money for this machine set and the extra strips I purchased, because this is junk. Fair warning to anyone wanting a correct blood sugar, this is NOT your machine.

Good for the price. I did have to change the battery less than a month after I ordered. They can be found at Walmart for less than 8.00. Also ordered more test strips on Amazon. Great meter for the price.
