Soft, but too stretchy
Jockey brand underwear is good quality, and I'm not saying these are not. They are well-made, and very soft.High-cut legs on my underwear is a style I have worn frequently throughout my life, even when my weight increases beyond my own personal comfort level. I say this because it is the way these panties are cut for the high-leg style that is the problem.These panties are cut so high that the leg opening is really too large, and the panties creep. And the leg elastic is too soft and weak. They travel up my backside to the point where they are wedged where I don't want them. There is enough fabric to cover my backside, to be sure, but the leg elastic is so soft and stretchy that the fabric doesn't stay where one would want it. The fabric is VERY soft, and I wish very much that these panties were not such a literal pain in the butt!I will buy Jockey underwear in the future, but never this high-cut style. I have other Jockey underwear and panties and like them very much, but...I really like my panties to keep my backside covered.

Mfg. is using a sub standard cotton much thinner so they don't last for years as before.
Have used only Jockey french cut for 50+ years. The cotton being used is 1/2 as thick as originally, the great waist band is also less thinner elastic than before. Would easily last 5 years before, but now 2 years.Much better panty than todays mfgs for those of us w/a bigger lower belly than before. Pure cotton is important, and better waist band than most panties also important. Please don't cheapen any more from the current classic product Jockey. This is the original CLASSIC french cut, gone from size 8 to 9 over the years. have tried all the other similar products thru jockey they fit better but non 100% cotton, and the wiast bands are no comparison. Have tried their briefs but they seem to large in the sizing and the waist band is 1/2 the size of the french cut. They do need to make more blues available as they are the first to dissapear in inventories. Would recommend, however not near the product they originally were hence the 3.5 from a 5 star review.
