Nicer than expected...
I purchased two of the Stack-On Clear View 12-Bin Organizers to use in my kindergarten classroom for storing small pieces for our phonics center. These are much sturdier and thicker than I thought they would be. I was expecting the thin plastic that the Stack-On drawer organizers are made of. This was a pleasant surprise.I expected the doors to be attached to each individual bin, but it is one long clear door over each row. It does lock into an open position and is pretty secure when closed, as it sort of snaps into place in the closed position. I'm a little worried that if I snap the door into the closed position that it will eventually break. To remedy this, I am just closing the lid without snapping it into place. I have these organizers hanging on a drywall wall using screws and plastic anchors. Should last for years and years, especially since my kindergarten students are not allowed to get into it. :)I used some cute scrapbook paper, cut it into the shape of each bin lid, and used Mod Podge to adhere and seal the scrapbook paper onto each door. I then applied alphabet letters and a protective layer of Mod Podge to label each bin with the alphabet letters, with the last two having two letters each since there were only 24 drawers on two of these units. I am using these to keep up with and to keep separated all of these tiny toys and trinkets we use in kindergarten for sound sorting. These bins are going to do the job perfectly and are going to be super cute. See the photo I added for ideas - I have shown the decorated bins with the top lid being open.

Joy to the OCD heart!
This is a perfect solution for the gift wrapping station at my retail store. My employees love it because it saves counter space and they can easily grab items while gift wrapping. We use it for various ribbon, small order forms, and other small items that are unique to our business. Before I bought this, I asked a question about the doors being removable. I didn't want them to get in the way. Several folks responded that the doors were removable, but I tried and it wasn't easy, so I left them on.... which is okay. They stay propped open just fine and it's no big deal. PRO'S: This unit stands up against our back wall and didn't need to be mounted for support. It saves a lot of counter space, which helps us wrap gifts more efficiently. It is a GREAT way to organize little things. I cannot say enough about this. I'm just so happy to have found it. CONS: This is not really a criticism, but make sure to take measurements. The bins are smaller than I realized. It fits our needs perfectly, but if you have big plans for each bin, make sure they'll work for your items. Also make sure the height will work for you. We have this underneath a shelf. We wanted a second one, but our other space was too small for this. Take measurements before you order.

Not a piece of junk, for not a lot of money
These bins are a good value for the money, especially now that they have dropped in price to under ten dollars. They are heavy duty plastic, and will hold boxes full of bolts, nails, screws, washers, etc. without a problem. You cannot fill them up completely (because the opening faces out), but you can put a lot of heavy-ish stuff in them. The flippable covers on my unit work fine, and are easy to open and to leave latched open. Note that the covers are one piece for a row of three bins - you can't open the cover to just a single bin. It's easy to attach to a wall, but works better with something supporting it underneath if it will hold anything but feathers and yarn.

Cheap, overpriced
I'm confused by all of the four and five star reviews for this item. Usually when I buy something on Amazon I tend to agree with the majority consensus. But this time I don't.For the price (around thirty dollars!) I expected this to be more well-made.The bins and lids are each made of a different kind of plastic (opaque bins, clear lids). The main part of the unit is blow-molded plastic and it's not too bad. It's sturdy and there are predrilled holes if you wanted to hang the bins on a wall. The clear plastic bin lids are awful. Each of the four bin lids I received are warped in some way or another. This means that when I want to open or close a bin I have to jiggle and tug to get the warped lid to open. Sometimes it takes both hands to get a lid open which is kind of inconvenient for a workbench. You can mitigate this problem by opening all of the bin lids when you start a project and closing them afterwards. Or you could screw the bins into the wall to secure them so that you could fiddle the lids open with one hand. There is a use for cheaply-made products if they work well and don't cost much. But for this price I didn't expect to receive a cheaply-made product and I did. I happened to buy some Gladiator bins in the same order and I like them so much better.

Surprisingly durable at price, easily mounted with S-shaped hooks
Surprisingly durable for the current price (9.99 USD). I initially bought one, but now I'm up to four.I've mounted them on the side of a Seville Classics UltraZinc 5-Shelf Wire Shelving Rack with Wheels, 14 x 30 x 60" using two Premium S Hooks by Amerigo - S Shaped hooks - Set of 10 Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Kitchen S Hooks - Silver - Size Large - Ideal Hangers for hanging your pots and pans, plants, utensils, towels etc. each. I was concerned about the hooks tearing through the plastic in the back after putting a lot of heavy things into the comparments, but these organizers seem to be holding up well. The clear doors can remain in the open position, which is how I've been keeping them for convenience and increased storage space.
